Righteous People

The righteous has an everlasting foundation - Proverbs 10:25.

Righteous are not ashamed

              A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the Lord upholds the righteous. The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied - Psalm 37: 16-19.

Righteous are not forsaken

               I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed. Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore. For the Lord loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever - Psalm 37:25-29.

Prayers of righteous are heard

             The Lord is far from the wicked but He hears the prayer of the righteous - Proverbs 10:3. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.- James 5:16. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry - Psalm 34:15. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears - Psalm 34:17.

Protection for righteous

            For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield. Psalm 5:12. The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe - Proverbs 18:10.

Deliverance for righteous

              The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all - Psalm 34:17,19.

Blessings for righteous

           The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon - Psalm 92:2. The righteous will thrive like a green leaf - Proverbs 11:28. Blessings are on the head of the righteous - Proverbs 10:6. The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day - Proverbs 4:18. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly - Psalm 84:11. He blesses the dwelling of the righteous - Proverbs 3:33.

Blessings for generation of righteous

              The generation of righteous are blessed and his descendants will be mighty on earth. The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him - Proverbs 20:7. The generation of the upright will be blessed - Psalm 112:2.
