Everything By Prayer And Supplication With Thanksgiving

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6-7.

Do not be anxious about anything

Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?” Matthew 6:25-27.

Prayer and supplication with thanksgiving

I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord - Psalm 116:17.  Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving - Colossians 4:2. Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy - Psalm 107:22.

Peace of God

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid - John 14:27. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful - Colossians 3:15. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You - Isaiah 26:3.                                                                   

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us submit all our requests and petitions with thanksgiving to You instead of being anxious about anything. We thank You for filling our hearts and minds with Your peace. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
