But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Corinthians 15:57.
God gave victory for the Israelites by doing marvelous things in the Red Sea and fighting for them against the Egyptians. Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still - Exodus 14:13,14. Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. That day the Lord saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians - Exodus 14:21,22, 30.
God went before us and fought with our enemies and gave us victory. For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory - Deuteronomy 20:4. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies - Psalm 108:13. He had done marvelous things in our life and His right hand and holy arm had gained us the victory. Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory - Psalm 98:1.
Let us thank God for fighting for us and doing marvelous things and giving us the victory over our enemies. He is your praise, and He is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen - Deuteronomy 10:21. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all - 1 Chronicles 29:11.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for fighting for us and doing marvelous things and giving us the victory. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
