Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men - Luke 2: 14.
The name of our Lord is Prince of Peace. For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace - Isaiah 9:6.
The birth of Jesus brought peace on earth and we have peace through Him. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed - Isaiah 43:5. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ - Romans 5:1.
There is no need to be afraid about anything as the peace that our God offers us is perfect and different from what the world offers. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid - John 14:27. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you - Isaiah 26:3.
Let God’s perfect peace rule our hearts irrespective of our circumstances. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful - Colossians 3:15. Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all - 2 Thessalonians 3:16.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Prince of Peace. We thank you for bringing peace on earth. Let Your perfect peace rule our hearts in all situations. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
