Make The Most of Every Opportunity

                                   Make the most of every opportunity - Colossians 4:5. 

              We need to be wise to make the most of every opportunity as the days are evil. Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil - Ephesians 5:15,16. Everyday is an opportunity given by God. This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it - Psalm 118:24. Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom - Psalm 90:12.

            Paul did make the most of his opportunities to share the gospel. For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance! - Acts 28:30-31. For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel! -1 Corinthians 9:16.

               Let us be wise to make the most of every opportunity and share the gospel effectively. Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching - 2 Timothy 4:2. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have -1 Peter 3:15. You are the light of the world - Matthew 5:14. Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation - Mark 16:15.                                                                              

Prayer: Dear Lord, Help us to be wise to make the most of every opportunity to share the gospel effectively. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
