Rejoicing The Heart

 The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes - Psalms 19:8.

           The Word of God is our delight and it rejoices our heart. If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life. Save me, for I am yours; I have sought out your precepts - Psalm 119:92-94.

              Job treasured the word of God more than his necessary food. No afflictions affected him as the Word of God is His delight. I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth More than my necessary food - Job 23:13.

            Let us rejoice at the Word of God as finding a great treasure and thank God for the Word that rejoices our heart. I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure - Psalm 119:162. I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches - Psalm 119:14. 

                                                       
        

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your Word that rejoices our heart. Let Your Word be our delight and let us treasure it more than anything. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
