Righteous God

 The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does - Psalm 145:17.

            Our God is righteous in all His ways. The ways of the Lord are right. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them - Hosea 14:9. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you - Psalm 89:14.              God who is upright guides us in what is right and teaches them his way when we are humble. Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way - Psalm 25:8-9.

               We are born of God when we practice righteousness knowing that He is righteous. If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him - 1 John 2:29. But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe - Romans 3:21–22. 

              Let us thank our righteous God and be rightous. I will give to the LORD the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the LORD, the Most High - Psalm 7:17. The heavens declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge! - Psalm 50:6. Continue your love to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart - Psalm 36:10.                                                                              

PRAYER: Dear Lord. You are righteous God and You are righteous in all your ways. Help us to be righteous. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
