He is not here; for He is risen, as
He said - Mathew 28:6.
On the day of
Jesus’ resurrection, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary arrived at the tomb of
Jesus. They saw the tomb rolled away and an angel sitting on the top. The angel
told them that the Lord is risen as He had promised and the tomb is empty. He
is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you, while He was still with
you in Galilee - Luke 24:6.
With fear and great joy, they went out quickly from the tomb and ran to tell His disciples. As they went, Jesus appeared and told them to tell that
Jesus is coming to see them. God raised Him from the dead - Acts 13:30. But God raised Him from the dead, freeing him from
the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him
- Acts 2:24.
When the disciples went away into
Galilee, Jesus came and spoke to them about the great commission. Go therefore and make disciples of all
the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and
lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen - Mathew 28: 19,20.
Let us rejoice and tell others about the risen king.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the
resurrection and the life. Help us to share the gospel with others. In Jesus
name we pray. Amen.
