Prophecies Fulfilled

Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb - Acts 13:29.

Jesus was betrayed by a friend.
Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted, Who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel against me - Psalm 41:9.
Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Him to them - Mark 14:10.
Jesus was sold for 30 pieces of silver.
Then I said to them, ‘If it is agreeable to you, give me my wages; and if not, refrain.’ So they weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver - Zechariah 11:12.
Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests 15 and said, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?” And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver - Mathew 26:14,15.
Jesus was beaten viciously.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed - Isaiah 53:5.
Then they struck Him on the head with a reed and spat on Him; and bowing the knee, they worshiped Him - Mark 15:19.
Jesus was silent before His accusers.
He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth -Isaiah 53:7.
But Jesus still made no reply, and Pilate was amazed - Mark 15:5.
His garments divided by gambling.
They divide My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots - Psalm 22:18.
And they divided His garments and cast lots - Luke 23:34.
Jesus was numbered with transgressors.
And He was numbered with the transgressors - Isaiah 53:12.
With Him they also crucified two robbers, one on His right and the other on His left. So the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And He was numbered with the transgressors.”- Mark 15:27,28.
Jesus died for others.
And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself - Daniel 9:26.
He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again - 2 Corinthians 5:15.
None of His bones would be broken.
He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken - Psalm 34:20.
But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs - John 19:33.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for sacrificing Your life for us by fulfilling all the prophecies. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
