For I am the Lord your God who takes
hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you” (Isaiah
41:13).
Fear is a tool used by devil
to destroy our lives. First it begins as a thought and later it starts to rule
us. For as he thinks in his heart, so is he - Proverbs 23:7. God wants us to
walk by faith but devil wants us to walk by fear. When we submit to God and
resist the devil, we can gain victory over devil. Therefore
submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you - James 4:7.
The Lord has promised to help
us, strengthen us and uphold us. Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed,
for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold
you with My righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as
the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let
it be afraid - John 14:27.
Fear is not from God. For God has not
given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind - 1 Timothy
2:7. God’s word gives us the hope. For whatever things were written before were
written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the
Scriptures might have hope - Romans 15:4. The promises of God strengthen our
faith. Let us overcome fear by faith and lead a victorious life.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for
strengthening us and helping us to overcome fear. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
