Pour Out Your Heart To God

Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us - Psalm 62:8.

God invites us to pour out our heart to Him and to trust Him at all times. Let us pour out our heart before God like water as He cares for us. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you - 1 Peter 5:7. Arise, cry out in the night, At the beginning of the watches; Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord - Lamentations 2:19.
Hannah poured out her heart to the Lord when she was barren.1 Samuel 1:15 says that she “poured out her soul before the LORD”. The Lord was gracious and blessed her with a son. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:16.
David always went to the presence of the Lord and poured out his heart to the Lord in times of distress. I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare before Him my trouble - Psalm 142:2. Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress - Psalm 4:1. Let us pour out our heart to God who is our refuge and strength.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We trust You and pour out our heart before You as You are our refuge. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Fights For Us

For the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you - Deuteronomy 20:4.

God fights all our battles. The Lord delivered Israelites from the Egyptians at the Red Sea. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace - Exodus 14:14. God conquered the city of Jericho (Joshua 6). God defeated the Canaanites at the hands of Deborah and Barak (Judges 4). God defeated the Midianites with Gideon (Judges 7). God defeated Goliath by David (1 Samuel 17).
When Moab and Ammon attacked Jehoshaphat, Judah gathered together and asked the help of the Lord. God fought the battle for them and the enemies destroyed themselves. Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s - 2 Chronicles 20:15. God struck down the Assyrians (2 Kings 19:35). The Lord is a man of war; The Lord is His name - Exodus 15:3.
When we face battles in our life, let us be still and see the salvation as the Lord will fight for us. Be still, and know that I am God - Psalm 46:10. Let us trust God and rely on His power. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God - Psalm 20:7. God will bring an end to all the battles in our life and give us victory. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth - Isaiah 46:9.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for fighting all our battles and giving us the victory. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Great Is Your Faithfulness

Great is Your faithfulness - Lamentations 3:23.

God’s faithfulness in our life is great, perfect and limitless. Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness  you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago - Isaiah 25:1. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies - Psalm 57:10. God is faithful and just to forgive us when we confess our sins. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness - 1 John 1:9.
God is faithful in protecting us and providing us. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one - 2 Thessalonians 3:3. God is faithful to help us in all situations. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it - 1 Corinthians 10:13. Let us thank God for His great faithfulness in our life.
God has promised to preserve us till His coming and He is faithful to do it. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it - 1 Thessalonians 5:23. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful – Hebrews 10:23.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your faithfulness in our life is great. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

A Time For Everything

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens - Ecclesiastes 3:1.

There is an appointed time and season by God for everything in this world. A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away;  A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace - Ecclesiastes 3:6-8. Though time and seasons change, God’s compassions never fail in our life. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness - Lamentations 3:22,23.
Every season of life has a great purpose and all things work for good in our life as we love God. It is good to live by faith and not by sight as God is with us throughout all seasons of our life. Let us make the best of each season and use the time wisely. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil - Ephesians 5:15,16. God will teach us and show us His ways in each season.
God has made everything beautiful in His time. He has made everything beautiful in its time - Ecclesiastes 3:11. He has wonderful plans for each season in our life. Our times are in the hands of God. My times are in Your hand - Psalm 31:15. Let us trust that God is in control through all seasons of our life. Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us - Psalm 62:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank you for giving us different times and seasons to enjoy in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Friend of God

But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, The descendants of Abraham My friend - Isaiah 41:8.

Abraham was called as the friend of God. Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. And he was called the friend of God - James 2:23. Moses was also called as God’s friend. God spoke with Moses face to face as a man speaks to his friend. So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend - Exodus 33:11. I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord - Numbers 12:8.
Both Abraham and Moses are called friends of God as they spent more time with God by hearing His voice. In Genesis 18:17, God says “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do? He made known His ways to Moses - Psalm 103:7. God calls us friends too. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you - John 15:15. We will be friends of God when we obey His commandments and follow Him. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you - John 15:14.
God loved us so much that He gave His life for us. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends - John 15:13. Except God, no one will really understand us. He understands every detail of our lives better than anyone else. He cares for us and never changes. He is our only best friend who is always with us at all situations. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you - Isaiah 43:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being the best friend of us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Safe In God's Hands

My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me - Psalm 63:8.

We are very safe and secure in the hands of God. God loves us so much that He had engraved us in the palm of His hands. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me - Isaiah 49:16. We are a crown of glory and royal diadem in God’s hand. You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, And a royal diadem In the hand of your God - Isaiah 62:3.
God is our shepherd who keeps us safe from the attack of enemies. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand - John 10:27,28. When we hear and follow the voice of God, no one can snatch us from God's hands. God also promises us to give eternal life. As we are safe in God’s hands, no evil can come near us. No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling - Psalm 91:10.
God protects us, helps us and upholds us with His righteous right hand. Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My; righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10. The loving hand of God saves us. Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save -Isaiah 59:1. You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me - Psalm 138:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, we thank You for protecting us by Your loving hands. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Use The Gifts To Serve God

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God - 1 Peter 4:10.

God has given each of us different gifts to use it for His glory. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them - Romans 12:6. The Lord appeared to Moses in a flame of fire when he was tending the flock in the desert and told him that had to deliver Israelites from Egypt. So the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod” - Exodus 4:2.
God wants us to serve Him with what we have. When Moses pleaded with the Lord that he is not very good in speaking, God sent Aaron along with him. God expects us to use our gifts to meet the needs of other people. He will help us to align with right people to fulfill His purpose. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them(Ephesians 2:10).
God will help us to use our gifts wisely for His glory. The Holy spirit will teach us and instruct us what to do and say. Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say - Exodus 4:12. God has created us to be salt and light of this earth. Let us serve God with what we have and honor God with our gifts. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow - 1 Corinthians 3:6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to use the gifts You have given us to serve You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Who Never Forgets Us

Remember these, O Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me - Isaiah 44:21.

Our God never forgets us. Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me - Isaiah 49:15,16. Even a mother may forget her child but God will not forget us. We are very safe and secure in the loving hands of God.
We may feel that we are completely forgotten by people but God will never forget us. Joseph was forgotten in the prison. The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph; he forgot him - Genesis 40:23. But God did not forget Joseph and made him leader of Egypt. Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt - Genesis 41:43.
Instead of trusting man, let us trust only God who never forgets us. Stop trusting in mere humans, who have but a breath in their nostrils - Isaiah 2:22. God will never forget our work and labor which we do for Him. For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister - Hebrews 6:10.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God who never forgets us. We thank You for Your unconditional love towards us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Wait On The Lord

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! - Psalm 27:14.

Waiting on God for answers to prayers may be sometimes difficult for us to understand. But God’s ways are always higher than our ways. Also, waiting on the Lord builds our character. God will answer us when we call upon Him and wait patiently for Him. I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry - Psalm 40:1. Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me - Micah 7:7.
All things work for good to all those who love God. The Lord is good to those who wait for Him - Lamentations 3:25. Joseph waited for God to lift him up at the right time. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt " - Genesis 41:41. Abraham waited patiently for the fulfillment of promises of God. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise - Hebrews 6:15. When we wait on God patiently and trust Him, He will do all things beautiful in His time.
By standing on God’s word with hope, we can wait on the Lord to act. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope - Psalm 130:5. God will renew our strength when we wait on Him. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint - Isaiah 40:31.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to wait in silence for You to work in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Godly Life of Daniel

Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams - Daniel 1:17.

Daniel led a godly life throughout his life. He kept himself holy by not defiling with king’s meat. But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank -Daniel 1:8. He glorified God when the mystery was revealed to him in the night. But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days - Daniel 2:28.
Daniel had a spirit of excellence. Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm - Daniel 6:3. As Daniel believed God, lions did not harm him when he was cast into lion’s den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God – Daniel 6:23.
Daniel kneeled and prayed to God three times every day. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days - Daniel 6:10. None of the situations stopped the prayer of Daniel. Let us set our heart to seek God by prayer every day.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to lead a godly life and glorify Your name. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Choose The Fear Of The Lord

Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come - Revelation 14:7.

We are so blessed when we choose the fear of the Lord. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house - Psalm 112:1-3. We can fear the Lord only when we hate evil. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil - Proverbs 8:13.
When we fear God, we can access the secrets of God. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant - Psalm 25:14.  We will begin to walk in wisdom when we have the fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom - Proverbs 9:10. The fear of the Lord delivers us from the snares of death. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death - Proverbs 14:27.
The fear of the Lord adds length to our life. The fear of the Lord prolongs days - Proverbs 10:27. The fear of God builds a secure fortress for us and for our children. In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge - Proverbs 14:26. Let us choose to fear the Lord as it brings wealth, honor and life. By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life - Proverbs 22:4.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us always choose to live in the fear of God and give You glory. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God's Thoughts

O Lord, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep - Psalm 92:5.

God’s thoughts are always higher than our thoughts. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts - Isaiah 55: 8,9. God blesses us and answers our prayers exceedingly and abundantly more than we think or imagine(Ephesians 3:20).
God’s thoughts towards us are precious and more in number than the sand. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; - Psalm 139:17,18. God loves us so much that He is always thinking about us and mindful of us. What is man that You are mindful of him - Psalm 8:4.
God’s thoughts and plans towards us are not of evil but of prosperous and peaceful that gives us hope and future. For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future - Jeremiah 29:11. Let us submit to God for God's higher thoughts towards us to be established in our life.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your love. Let Your higher thoughts work in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Pray Persistently

Be persistent in prayer, and keep alert as you pray, giving thanks to God - Colossians :2.

God wants us to pray persistently. Pray without ceasing - 1 Thessalonians 5:17. He will never forsake those who seek Him. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You - Psalm 9:10. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing - Psalm 34:10.
A blind man cried out more to Jesus to have mercy on him even though the crowd tried to silence him. Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”- Luke 18:39. Let us keep on ask and seek God’s mercies in our lives.
In Acts 12, we see that the church prayed persistently all night for the release of Peter from prison. Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church - Acts 12:5. Believe that nothing will be too hard for God to accomplish. Let us pray persistently till God acts.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to rejoice always and pray persistently. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Remember God's Marvelous Works

This was the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes - Psalm 118:23.

The works of God in our lives are great and marvelous. Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty - Revelation 15:3. O Lord, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep - Psalm 92:5. He does great things, and unsearchable, marvelous things without number - Job 5:9.
We worship the Almighty God who miraculously split the Red sea and made the children of Israel to walk on the dry land in the midst of the sea. Thus Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done in Egypt - Exodus 14:31. Moses and the children of Israel sang a song and praised God for His marvelous works. I will sing to the Lord, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea - Exodus 15:1.
Let us remember all the marvelous works which God has done in our life and thank Him. Remember the marvelous works of God. He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and full of compassion - Psalm 111:4. I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works - Psalm 9:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for all the marvelous works You have done in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Walk Closely With God

He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked – 1 John 2:6.

God wants us to walk with Him closely. I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people - Leviticus 26:12. Enoch was the first man in the Bible who walked with God. Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters - Genesis 5:21. Noah and Abraham also walked with God. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God - Genesis 6:9. Abraham walked with God (Genesis 24:40).
Moses had a closer walk with God. So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend Exodus 33:11. God showed all His ways to Moses. He made known His ways to Moses - Psalm 103:7. God will show us great and mighty things which we never know when we walk with Him closely. Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know - Jeremiah 33:3.
God will give us discernment and direction in our life when we walk closely with Him. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places - Isaiah 45:3. He reveals His plans to the people who seek His presence. Seek, and you will find - Mathew 7:7. There is nothing in this world that can be compared to be in the presence of God. Let us hunger for a closer walk with God.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to walk closely with You everyday. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Humble Beginnings And Prosperous Future

Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be - Job 8:7.

Abraham left his country and people by obeying God and started a new life with humble beginnings in the land God showed him. God blessed him and multiplied him. He became the father of many nations as the Lord had promised him. And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing - Genesis 12:2,3. A little one shall become a thousand, And a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time – Isaiah 6:22.
David who was a shepherd had very humble beginnings in his life. But God called him to serve as king. The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part. Joseph and Moses who had very humble beginnings in their life became great leaders. Ruth’s life did not go in the way she intended in the beginning but later God blessed her life abundantly. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor - 1 Samuel 2:8.
God will fill our life with joy and gladness by making our life of wilderness like Eden and desert like the garden of the land. For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the Lord; Joy and gladness will be found in it - Isaiah 51:3. Though our life beginnings may seem humble, God will make our future prosperous. Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time - 1 Peter 5:6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God of blessings. We thank for Your goodness and blessings in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Glorify God

Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).

God is glorified when we offer Him the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Psalm 50:23 says, “He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies Me”. We also glorify God when we call upon Him. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me - Psalm 50:15. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son - John 14:13.
Abraham gave glory to God by strengthening his faith as he believed that God’s promises will never fail. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God - Romans 4:20. When we believe God, we glorify God and see the glory of God as well. Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” -John 11:40.
God will be glorified through us when we exhibit fruit of the spirit in our life. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit - John 15:8. Rather than seeking our own glory, let us seek the glory of God. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him - John 7:18.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We offer our life to You. Let us always bring glory to Your name. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Be Still My Soul

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God - Psalm 43:5.

David encouraged himself by talking with his soul to have hope in God. Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved - Psalm 62:1,2. Our salvation comes only from the Lord. Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me - Psalm 131:2.
God is our refuge, strength, help and fortress. Be still, and know that I am God.  I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress - Psalm 46:10,11. Our soul can be still and quiet at any given situation as the Lord of hosts is with us. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you - Isaiah 43:2.
Let us be still by committing all our ways to the Lord and trusting Him. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling - Psalm 46:1-3. We can find rest and peace in God even though the earth may be removed, waters may roar and the mountains may shake.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let our soul be still and silent in all situations as You are with us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Rise Up And Walk

Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light - Ephesians 5:14.

Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer. At the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, they saw a lame man asking alms from those who entered the temple. The lame man asked alms from Peter and John also. Peter told him to rise up and walk in the name of Jesus. Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk” - Acts 3:6. Immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength and people saw him walking, leaping and praising God.
There was a lame man who was paralyzed for 38 years and was laid by the pool of Bethesda. When Jesus saw him, He asked him whether he want to be healed. There is no one willing to help him to put him into the pool. The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me” - John 5:7. But Jesus loved this man and had compassion on him. Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk” - John 5:8. Immediately, the man was made well and he walked.
Let us also rise up from our defeat and walk victoriously with hope as the risen Lord is with us. We have to destroy the yokes that the enemy has placed on our life by anointing and rise up for God. It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil - Isaiah 10:27. God calls us to rise up and walk for His glory. Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you - Isaiah 60:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to rise up and walk a victorious life for Your glory. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Who Delivers Us

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them - Psalm 34:7.

God came into this world to deliver us from the power of darkness into His kingdom. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love - Colossians 1:13. He is our deliverer. He protects us and delivers us from all evil. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one - Mathew 6:13.
God delivered the people of Israel from the slavery of Egypt. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery - Exodus 20:2. God delivered Daniel from lions in the lion’s den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God - Daniel 6:23.
When we call upon God and believe Him, He will deliver us all our fears and troubles. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears - Psalm 34:4. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me - Psalm 50:15. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses - Psalm 107:6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our deliverer. We thank You for delivering us from all our fears and troubles. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Come To Me

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest - Mathew 11:28.

God wants us to carry all our burdens to Him. Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved - Psalm 55:22. We can find rest in God as He had carried all our sorrows and griefs on the cross. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows - Isaiah 53:4.
Hannah carried all her burdens to the Lord and poured out her soul to Him. I was pouring out my soul to the Lord – 1 Samuel 1:15. After that, she was no longer sad as she had found rest in the presence of God. So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad - 1 Samuel 1: 18. Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us - Psalm 62:8.
God will give rest and peace to all those who come to Him. We have a great privilege to carry all our requests and burdens to God as He cares for us. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus – Philippians 4:6, 7. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you - 1 Peter 5:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us always find rest by coming to Your loving presence and casting all our burdens to You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Read, Hear And Keep God's Word

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near - Revelation 1:3.

We are blessed when we read, hear and keep the word of God. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart - Hebrews 4:12. Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble - Psalm 119:165.
Read
When we meditate the word of God, whatever we do will prosper. And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day - Psalm 119:97. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God - Mathew 4:4.
Hear
Hearing the word of God builds our faith. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God - Romans 10:17. God speaks with us and reveals His plans through His Word. Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live - Isaiah 55:2,3. We live by the word of God. He who has ears to hear, let him hear - Luke 8:8.
Keep
Let us apply the word of God in our life. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only - James 1:22. Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You - Psalm 119:11. Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock - Mathew 7:24.

PRAYER: We thank You for Your word which is the lamp to our feet and light to our path. Help us to read, hear and keep Your word every day. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Hagar In The Wilderness

I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert - Isaiah 43:19.

Abraham sent Hagar and Ishmael away into the desert with some food and a skin of water. When the water in the skin was gone, Hagar put the boy under a bush and began to sob. God heard the boy crying and strengthened her by His promises. He calmed the fears of Hagar by telling her not to be afraid. But God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, ‘Hagar, what’s wrong? Do not be afraid! God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. Go to him and comfort him, for I will make a great nation from his descendants.’ - Genesis 21:17-18.
God made a way for Hagar in the wilderness by opening her eyes to see a well of water. Then God opened Hagar’s eyes, and she saw a well full of water. She quickly filled her water container and gave the boy a drink - Genesis 21:19. She filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink. God was with Ishmael as he grew up. As He promised Hagar, a great nation was formed from the descendants of Ishmael (Genesis 25:12-16).
God sees us and hears us in times of our needs. For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You - Psalm 9:10. He will calm down all our fears and provide all our needs. Like how God made a way for Hagar in the wilderness by showing her a well of water, He will make a way for us in our wilderness experiences. He will fulfill all the promises in our life. He is our way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper and light in the darkness.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Lord who makes a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. We thank You for hearing us in times of our needs. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
