Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us - 1 John 5:14.
The confidence we have in
God is that if we ask anything according to His will. He hears us. He is the
God who hears and answers our prayers. We will receive grace and mercy in time
of need as we draw near to God with confidence. Let us then approach God’s
throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to
help us in our time of need- Hebrews 4:16. Let us pray to God with confidence.
David was a man with complete confidence in
God. The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the
strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? - Psalm 27:1. I have set the
Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken -
Psalm 16:8. I remain
confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the
living - Psalm 27:13.
Let our confidence be always in God and not in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man - Psalm 118:8. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me - Philippians 4:13. Let us draw near to God with confidence that He who has begun a good work will complete it. Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ - Philippians 1:6.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us always
remain confident in You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
