Become As Little Children

Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven - Matthew 18:3.

We cannot enter the kingdom of heaven unless we change ourselves and become like little children. The one who humbles himself as a little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven - Matthew 18:4.

Let us become humble like a little child. Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you - 1 Peter 5:5-7. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven - Matthew 5:3.

God also wants us to have a childlike faith and purity in heart. For we live by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7. Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God - Matthew 5:8. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven” - Matthew 19:14.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We surrender and humble ourselves like a little child before You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Promise of Prayer

And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive - Matthew 21:22.

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know - Jeremiah 33:3.

It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear- Isaiah 65:24.

Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full - John 16:23,24.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you - John 15:7.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:16.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us - 1 John 5:14.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you – Matthew 7:7.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land - 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you - Jeremiah 29:12.

Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven - Matthew18:19.

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them - Mark 11:24.

And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight - 1 John 3:22.

For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the Lord our God is to us, whenever we call upon him?” Deuteronomy 4:7.

It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear - Isaiah 65:24.

I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation - Psalm 118:21.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the prayer answering God. We thank You for the promises of prayer. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Paul's Prayer For The Church

I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers - Ephesians 1:16.

Paul prayed for every church and every believer of the church. He also thanked God for their faith in Christ and their love for others. He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ - Philippians 1:6. Because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel - Colossians 1:5. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other - 2Thessalonians 1:3.

For Ephesians

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man - Ephesians 3:14.

For Philippians

And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God - Philippians 1:9-11.

For Colossians

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding - Colossians 1:9.

For Thessalonians

For what thanks can we render to God for you, for all the joy with which we rejoice for your sake before our God, night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face and perfect what is lacking in your faith? - 1 Thessalonians 3:9, 10.

For Romans

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers, making request if, by some means, now at last I may find a way in the will of God to come to you - Romans 1:9,10.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us pray for the Church and all the believers without ceasing. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I will live with them and walk among them - 2 Corinthians 6:16.

Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you - Genesis 28:15. And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed - Deuteronomy 31:8.

Let us not fear about anything as God is with us. Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10. I will fear no evil; For You are with me - Psalm 23:4. He is with us in all our situations. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.              God is with us always. The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? - Psalm 118:6. I am with you always, even to the end of the age - Mathew 28:20. He is Immanuel who is with us. Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” - Mathew 1:23. He is the living God who lives with us!!

Be A Blessing To Others

I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing - Genesis 12:2.

We are blessed to be a blessing for others. Proverbs 11:25 tells us, "The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself." Not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing - 1 Peter 3:9.

Pray for others

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men - 1 Timothy 2:1.

Help the poor

The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor - Proverbs 22:9.

Encourage others

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing - 2 Thessalonians 5:1.

 Show hospitality

Show hospitality to one another without grumbling - 1 Peter 4:9.

Do good

But love your enemies, do good, and lend, [a]hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil - Luke 6:35.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Make me a blessing for others. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Lord of Hosts Is With Us

The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge - Psalm 46:11.

The Lord of hosts who is with us is our refuge, strength and fortress. O Lord God of hosts, Who is mighty like You, O Lord? - Psalm 89:8. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory! - Isaiah 6:3. He is the king of glory. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory - Psalm 24:10.

David said to Goliath that he came to him in the name of the Lord of hosts. Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied” - 1 Samuel 17:45. He killed Goliath without even a sword in his hand. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David - 1 Samuel 17:50.

The protection of the Lord of hosts is always with us. Like birds flying about, So will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem. Defending, He will also deliver it; Passing over, He will preserve it - Isaiah 31:5. How lovely is Your tabernacle, O Lord of hosts! - Psalm 84:1. O Lord of hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in You! – Psalm 84:12. ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts - Zechariah 1:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You and praise You. You are the Lord of hosts who is always with us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Favor of God

A good man obtains favor from the Lord - Proverbs 12:2.

For he who finds me finds life And obtains favor from the Lord - Proverbs 8:35.

God’s favor lasts for a life time. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life - Psalm 30:5.

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men - Luke 2:52.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man - Proverbs 3:3,4.

But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison - Genesis 39:21.

The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti - Esther 2:17.

For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield - Psalm 5:12.

But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God - Genesis 6:8, 9.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless - Psalm 84:11.

God’s time of favor had come in our life. You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come - Psalm 102:13.

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us - yes, establish the work of our hands - Psalm 90:17.

He who earnestly seeks good finds favor - Proverbs 11:27.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, May Your favor rest on us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Spreading The Gospel

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes - Romans 1:16.

Paul wrote a letter to Romans saying that he was not ashamed of the gospel. The gospel is the power of God and it has the ability to produce fruits. Each time it is proclaimed, God’s power is released and seeds are planted. But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience - Luke 8:15.

Paul was in prison when he wrote the letter to Colossae church for God to open a door for the word. Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak - Colossians 4:2-4.

Paul also preached the kingdom of God for two years in his own rented house. Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him - Acts 28:30,31. He used each and every chance and situation to proclaim the gospel.

We all are in great mission and calling to share the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Let us pray for an open door to share the gospel message throughout the world, especially in the countries where gospel cannot be shared freely. Let us also pray for the boldness to proclaim Jesus as the savior. So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it - Isaiah 55:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to spread the gospel boldly in all circumstances as much as we can. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Submit To God And Then Resist The Devil

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you - James 4:7.

Submit to God

We cannot resist the devil unless we submit ourselves to God completely. It is important to submit all the areas of our life to God and place under His authority. Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you - Job 22:21. Submitting to one another in the fear of God - Ephesians 5:21. Let us humble ourselves and draw near to God. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you - James 4:8.

Resist the devil

After submitting ourselves to God, let us recognize and resist the devil with the whole armor of God by being steadfast in the faith. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith - 1 Peter 5:8.9. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil - Ephesians 6:11. We can overcome the devil by the blood of the lamb and the word. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death - Revelation 12:11.

Claim the victory

Let us claim the victory with the authority that God has given us and the devil will flee away from us. He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world - 1 John 4:4. No weapon formed against you shall prosper - Isaiah 54:17. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you - Luke 10:19. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Corinthians 15:57.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We submit all the areas of our life to You. Help us to resist the devil by putting on the whole armor and claim the victory. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Who Sees Us

Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, “Have I also here seen Him who sees me?” - Genesis 16:13.

Our God is El-Roi who sees us. The eyes of the LORD are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good - Proverbs 15:3. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and those who fear Him. The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry - Psalm 34:15. But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love - Psalm 33:18.

God saw the affliction of people of Israelites and delivered them. And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites" - Exodus 3:7,8. And on that same day the Lord brought the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts. - Exodus 12:51.

God saw Hagar and heard her affliction. And the Angel of the Lord said to her: “Behold, you are with child, And you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, Because the Lord has heard your affliction" - Psalm 34:15. She called the name of the Lord who sees her as the God who sees. God will see all our needs and will deliver us from all afflictions. He will never leave us nor forsake us. From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind, from His dwelling place He watches all who live on earth - Psalm 33:13.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You and praise You. You are El Roi, the Lord who sees us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God's Favor For Joseph

For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord - Proverbs 8:35.

Joseph found favor in Potiphar’s sight

Joseph found favor in Potiphar’s sight and became in charge of his household as God was with him. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned. From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field - Genesis 39:4,5.

Joseph found favor in prison

Joseph found favor in the sight of keeper of prison. But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing. The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority, because the Lord was with him; and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper - Genesis 39: 21-23.

God's favor in our life

The favor of God was with Joseph in all the circumstances of his life. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield - Psalm 5:12. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life  - Psalm 30:5.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, May Your favor rest in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God's Plan For Moses

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" - Jeremiah 29:11.

Moses was born during a time of fear for the Israelites as king Pharoah decreed that all Israelite children were supposed to be thrown into the Nile River. So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, “Every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive” - Exodus 1:22. But God had a great plan for Moses. He sent Pharoah’s daughter to the river at right time. Then the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river. And her maidens walked along the riverside; and when she saw the ark among the reeds, she sent her maid to get it - Exodus 2:5.

Pharoah’s daughter had compassion on Moses and told his mother to nurse him for her. So she had compassion on him, and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children - Exodus 2:6. Then Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages.” So the woman took the child and nursed him - Exodus 2:7-9. All things work good for those who love God.

God’s plans will never harm us but give us hope and a future. As God’s plan is to save Israelites through Moses, He sent Pharaoh’s daughter to find Moses in the river which led to Moses learning all the wisdom of Egyptians. And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and deeds - Acts 7:22. Moses also carried out God’s plan of bringing the people of Israel out of Egypt.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your plans that prospers us and gives us hope and a future. In Jesus; name we pray. Amen.

You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power - Revelation 4:11.

Our God is so great and His miracles are so great. There is none like our God. No one is like you, Lord; you are great, and your name is mighty in power - Jeremiah 10:6. Let us worship our Holy God and give Him the glory. Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones, Give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness - Psalm 29:1, 2.

Let us do everything for the Lord’s glory and honor. So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God - I Corinthians 10:31. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ - 2 Thessalonians 1:12.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We praise Your name.  You deserve all the glory, honor and power. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit - Romans 15:13.

Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock - Isaiah 26:4.

Ask The Wisdom of God

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding - Proverbs 9:10.

We need Godly wisdom to make wise decisions and smart choices. Our God is the source of all wisdom. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him - James 1:7. Let us ask the wisdom of God that is pure, peaceable and perfect. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy - James 3:17.

Solomon asked God for wisdom to lead the people rather than wealth or anything when he became the king of Israel. Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours? - 2 Chronicles 1: 10. God fulfilled the desire of Solomon by giving him wisdom along with wealth and honor. Wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like - 2 Chronicles 1:12.

Let us ask and receive wisdom from God. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil - Proverbs 3:5-7. As fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, let us fear God and walk in His perfect wisdom.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Grant us Your wisdom and teach us your ways. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Do Not Set Your Heart On Riches

If riches increase, Do not set your heart on them - Psalm 62:10.

God wants us not to set our heart on riches as it increases. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also - Matthew 16:21. The love of money is the root of all evil. For the love of money is the root of all evil - 1 Timothy 6:9. Our God is the source of all blessings and He gives us the ability to produce wealth. But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today - Deuteronomy 8:18.

Everything that exists in this world are temporary. We will fall when we trust our riches. He who trusts in his riches will fall - Proverbs 11:28. Instead of trusting our riches, may we put our hope in God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment - 1 Timothy 6:17.

Let us examine ourselves where our heart is. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” - Hebrews 13:5. As we seek the kingdom of God first, all things will be added to us. And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you - Luke 12:29-31.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us not to set our heart on riches as it increases. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Trusting In God's Provision

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:19.

Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you - Matthew 6:25, 33.

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you - 1 Peter 5:6-7.

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? - Matthew 6:26

Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows - Luke 12:7.

If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you - you of little faith! - Luke 12:28.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything; you may have an abundance for every good deed - 2 Corinthians 9:8.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all - how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? - Romans 8:32.

But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today - Deuteronomy 8:18.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows - James 1:17.

Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart - Psalm 37:4.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us - Ephesians 3:20.

P.RAYER: Dear Lord, You are our Provider. We thank You for Your wonderful provision in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Who Remembers Our Sins No More

For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more – Jeremiah 31:34.

God casts all our sins into the depths of the sea and remembers no more. He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea - Micah 7:19. For You have cast all my sins behind Your back - Isaiah 38:17. I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins - Isaiah 43:25.

God's mercy is so great that He forgives and forgets all our sins. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us - Psalm 103:10-12. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more - Hebrews 8:12

God is faithful and just to forgive all our sins as we confess. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness - 1 John 1:9. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin - Psalm 51:2. We are so blessed as our sins are forgiven by God. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered – Psalm 32:1. Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered - Romans 4:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for forgiving and forgetting all our sins. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Abraham's Intercession For Sodom And Gomorroh

                                               Pray continually - 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

Abraham interceded for Sodom and Gomorrah when God revealed His plan of destroying it. And the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know” - Genesis 18:20,21. He begin asking God if the City would be spared if there are 50 righteous people. Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer - Romans 12:12.

Abraham kept praying unless Lot was spared from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? - Genesis 18:25. And He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.”  So the Lord went His way as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham; and Abraham returned to his place - Genesis 18:32,33.

God remembered Abraham and protected Lot from destruction. And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot had dwelt - Genesis 19:29. Turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked - 2 Peter 2:6,7.

Let us also intercede in prayer for all people and keep praying like Abraham until our prayer is answered. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints - Ephesians 6:18. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened - Matthew 7:7,8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Give us a burden in our heart like Abraham to intercede for people’s salvation. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Be Holy For I Am Holy

Be holy, for I am holy - 1 Peter 1:16.

Our God is holy. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory! - Isaiah 6:3. There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God - 1 Samuel 2:2. Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy - Revelation 15:4. God’s will for us is to be holy. For it is God’s will that you should be holy - 1 Thessalonians 4:3.

God had chosen us, saved us and called us to lead a holy life according to His own purpose and grace. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight - Ephesians 1:4. He has saved us and called us to a holy life - not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time - 2 Timothy 1:9. For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. 1 Thessalonians 4:7.

Let us be holy as our Holy God. Put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness - Ephesians 4:24. Without holiness, we can never see God.  Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord - Hebrews 12:14. Let us worship our Holy God with holiness. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light - 1 Peter 2:9.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Holy God. Help us to be holy as You are holy. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
