In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are Your pleasures forevermore - Psalm 16:11.
There is fullness of joy in the
presence of the Lord. We have a great privilege of being in God's presence.
We are not alone as His presence is always with us. My Presence will go with
you, and I will give you rest - Exodus 33:14. Moses longed for the presence of
God. Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring
us up from here. And he said, “Please, show me Your glory” - Exodus 33:15,18.
Mary loved to be in the presence
of God by sitting at the feet of Jesus and hearing His Word whereas Martha was distracted
by too many things. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’
feet and heard His word - Luke 10:39. Mary chose a good part of being in the
presence of God where there is fullness of joy. And Jesus answered and said to
her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one
thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken
away from her - Luke 10:41, 42.
There are times of refreshing in the
presence of the Lord. Repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away,
in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord - Acts
3:19. We are fully protected by God as His presence is always with us. You
shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of man; You
shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues - Psalm 31:20.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for
the fullness of joy we receive in Your presence. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
