The Power of Being In One Accord

 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart - Acts 2:46.

Praying

              God will answer our prayer and will be in our midst when we pray together with one accord. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them - Matthew 18: 19, 20. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers - Acts 1:14. And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness - Acts 4:31.

Coming of the Holy Spirit

              We are filled with the Holy Spirit and get the guidance of God as we pray with one accord. When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance - Acts 2:1-4.

Serving

             Let us serve the Lord with one accord. For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, That they all may call on the name of the Lord, To serve Him with one accord - ​ Zephaniah 3:9. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ - Romans 15:5,6. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous - 1 Peter 3:8.
