Darkness Into Light

 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light - 1 Peter 2:9.

The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? -  Psalm 27:1. 

I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness - John 12:46.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” - John 8:12.

He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him. - Daniel 2:22

 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light - Genesis 1:3. 

The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned - Matthew 4:16.

 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them - Isaiah 42:16.

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ - 2 Corinthians 4:6.

You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light - Psalm 18:28. 

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined - Isaiah 9:2. 

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love - Colossians 1;13. 

Light dawns in the darkness for the upright - Psalm 112:4.

He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And broke their chains in pieces - Psalm 107:13,14.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path - Psalm 119:105. 

Through the tender mercy of our God, With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us; To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace - Luke 1:78,79.      

Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard - Isaiah 58:8.                    

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin - 1 John 1:7.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light - Ephesians 5:8.

I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth - Acts 13:47.

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden - Matthew 5:14.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven - Matthew 5:16.

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world - John 9:5.

                                                   

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for delivering us out of the darkness into light. Let us walk in the light and let out light shine before all men.  In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
