The Lord Will Go Before You

 For the Lord will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard - Isaiah 52:12.

The Lord will go before us to guide us

           The Lord was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day to lead them on the way, and in a pillar of fire by night to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night - Exodus 13:21. And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them - Exodus 14:19.

The Lord will go before us to fight for us

          The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you - Deuteronomy 1:30. Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you - Deuteronomy 31:6.

The Lord will go before us to make the crooked places straight

           I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron - Isaiah 45:2. I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars - Isaiah 45:2.

The Lord will go before us to break obstacles and to open the way

           I will go before you, and level the mountains: I will break own the gates of bronze and cut through the bars of iron - Isaiah 45:2. The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out - Micah 2:13.

                                                     

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for going before us to guide us, to fight for us, to make crooked places straight and to open the way. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
