These Things I Will Do For Them

I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them - Isaiah 42:16.

I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known

God will lead us in paths and ways not known by us. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8. Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul - Psalm 143:8.

I will make darkness light before them

God will turn all our darkness into light. You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light - Psalm 18:28. The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined - Isaiah 9:2.

And crooked places straight

God will go before us, break the obstacles and make all our crooked places straight. I will go before you and make the crooked places straight.  - Isaiah 45:2. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth - Isaiah 40:4,5. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight - Proverbs 3: 5, 6.

These things I will do for them, And not forsake them

Let us thank God who leads us in paths not known by us, makes darkness light before us and crooked places in our life straight. The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes - Psalm 118:23. And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed - Deuteronomy 31:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for leading us in paths and ways we do not know, for making darkness light  before us and for making crooked places straight. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
