Count It All Joy

 Count it all joy when you fall into various trials - James 1:2.

To perfect our character

            God is working through our trials to perfect our character. Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience - James 1:2. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing - James 1:4. 

Blessed

           We are blessed when we endure temptation. Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him - James 1:12. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord - that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful - James 5:11.

Greatly rejoice

             Let us greatly rejoice in our trials. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ - 1 Peter 1:6,7.

                                                        

PRAYER: Dear Lord,  Help us to count it all joy when falling into various trials. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
