Amazing Grace

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace - 1 John 1:16.

God’s grace is amazing as it is sufficient for us in all the circumstances of our life. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me - 2 Corinthians 12: 9. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:16. By grace we have been saved through faith - Ephesians 2:8.

God’s grace is exceedingly abundant in our life. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus - 1 Timothy 1:14. We are sustained by the grace of god throughout this year. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me - 1 Corinthians 15:10.

We have received grace after grace and so let us thank God who made all grace abound toward us for us to have all sufficiency in all things. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work - 2 Corinthians 9:8. Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord - 2 Peter 1:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your amazing grace in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

All Things Work Together For Good

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose - Romans 8:28.

All things that happen in our life work together for good as we love God. He has made everything beautiful in its time - Ecclesiastes 3:11. We might have lot of plans but only God’s purpose will be established in our life as He knows everything about us. Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established - Psalm 19:21. A man’s mind plans his way; but the Lord directs his steps - Proverbs 16:9.

God’s thoughts and ways are always higher than our thoughts and ways. For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts - Isaiah 55:8,9.

Let us submit ourselves to the peaceful thoughts of God that gives us future and hope. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope - Jeremiah 29:11. No eye has seen, nor ear heard, Nor the heart of man imagined, What God has prepared for those who love him - 1 Corinthians 2:9.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We believe that all things work together for good in our life as we love You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Joy To The World

For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord - Luke 2:11.

The birth of Jesus our Savior brought great joy to the whole world. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord" - Luke 2:10,11.

God loved us so much that He sent His only son to the world to save us. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life - John 3:16. But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law - Galatians 4:4. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins - Matthew 1:21.

Let us thank God our Savior who became flesh for us to bring us joy, love, hope and peace. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth - John 1:14. God So Loved The World

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

God so loved the world that He gave His only son that we might live through Him. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins - 1 John 4:9,10.

God’s love is so great that He died for us while we were still sinners. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved - Ephesians 2:4,5. How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! - 1 John 3:1.

Let us also love one another like God who loved us unconditionally. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another - 1 John 4:11. I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness - Jeremiah 31:3. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you - John 15:12. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is made complete in us - 1 John 4:12.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your great love towards us. Help us to love others. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Prince of Peace

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace - Isaiah 9:6.

The name of our Lord is the Prince of Peace. He made peace to us through the blood of His cross. Having made peace through the blood of His cross - Colossians 1:20. He gives us His peace which the world never gives us. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid - John 14:27.

The Lord of Peace Himself gives us His peace always in every way. Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all - 2 Thessalonians 3:16. He keeps us in perfect peace as we trust in Him. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You - Isaiah 26:3.

The Word Became Flesh

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us - John 1:14.

God who created everything through His Word was the Word. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God -  John 1:1. The love of God for us is so great that He sent His only son into the world to be manifested in flesh. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. For You have magnified Your word above all Your name - Psalm 138:2. God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons - Philippians 4:4.

God who is the word became flesh and dwelt among us with humility in the appearance of man to redeem us. Being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross - Philippians 2:6-8.

Let us thank God who became flesh for us to live with Him now and forever. God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory - 1 Timothy 3:16. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth - John 1:14.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for becoming flesh and dwelling among us for us to have life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! - 1 John 3:1. O Lord you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are the work of your hands - Isaiah 64:8. You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation - Psalm 89:26.

God who is our Everlasting Father cares for us. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you - 1 Peter 5:7. And in the wilderness. there you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place - Deuteronomy 1:31.          Let us thank God our Everlasting Father who loves us with an everlasting love. I have loved you with an everlasting love - Jeremiah 31:3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort - 2 Corinthians 1:3. Let us always approach our everlasting father in prayer for everything. The Shepherds Shared The Good News

When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child - Luke 2:17.

The angel of the Lord first announced the shepherds about the birth of Christ.  And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord - Luke 2:9-11.

The shepherds went to see Jesus as soon as they heard about the birth of Christ. When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger - Luke 2:15,16.

The shepherds shared the good news about the birth of Jesus and all who heard were amazed.  All who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them - Luke 2:18. Light of The World

I am the light of the world - John 8:12.

Jesus is the light of the world. He came as a light into the dark world to give us light. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness - John 12:46. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world - John 1:9. God is light, and in him is no darkness at all - 1 John 1.5. The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned - Matthew 4:16. The Lord will be your everlasting light - Isaiah 60:20.

God had delivered us out of the darkness into His marvelous light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love - Colossians 1;13. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light - 1 Peter 2:9. We have the light of life as we follow Him. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life - John 8:12.

We are the light of the world and so let our light shine for the glory of God. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden - Matthew 5:14. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light - Ephesians 5:8. I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth - Acts 13:47. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven - Matthew 5:16. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world - John 9:5.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the light of the world. We thank You for stepping down into the dark world and delivering us out of the darkness into the marvelous light. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Jesus Humbled Himself

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled himself by becoming obedient to death - even death on a cross - Philippians 2:8.

Jesus humbled Himself and came from the heaven to earth in the likeness of men. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men - Philippians 2:5-7. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone - Hebrews 2:9.

God highly exalted Jesus as He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father - Philippians 2:9-11.

Let us humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord and be obedient to Him. Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord - James 4:10. He who humbles himself will be exalted - Luke 14:11. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls - Matthew 11:29. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love - Ephesians 4:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to humble ourselves in all we do. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Joy, Hope And Peace

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him - Romans 15:13.

  Joy

Jesus came to earth as Savior to bring us great joy. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” - Luke 2:10,11. Everlasting joy will be upon their heads; they will attain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing will flee away - Isaiah 51:11.

Hope

Jesus came to earth as Savior to bring us great hope. He is our living hope. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead - 1 Peter 1:3. For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future - Jeremiah 29:11.

Peace

Jesus came to earth as Savior to bring us great peace. Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men! - Luke 2:14. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ - Romans 5:1. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:7. In Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world - John 16:33.

May the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace during this Christmas season as we trust in Him.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for filling us with hope, joy and peace. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Joseph's Obedience

When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife - Matthew 1:24.

The angel told Joseph to take Mary as his wife as she is conceived of the Holy Spirit. When he was thinking of putting her away secretly. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly - Mathew 1:19. But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit - Matthew 1: 20.

Joseph was obedient to all the instructions that were given to him in the dreams by the angel of the Lord. Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.” When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt - Matthew 2:13,14.

Joseph fully obeyed God and walked in His ways for God’s plan of salvation to be accomplished. If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth - Deuteronomy 28:1. To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams - 1 Samuel 15:22

PRAYER: Help us to obey Your commands and walk in Your ways. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Christ Our Redeemer

God gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good – Titus 2:14.

Jesus came to the world to redeem us. He gave Himself for us to redeem us from sins and curses. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus - Romans 3:23,24. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree - Galatians 3:13.

We are redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins - Colossians 1:14. Forasmuch as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold, form your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish, and without spot - I Peter 1:18-19.

Let us thank God our Redeemer for the gift of redemption. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name - John 1:12. I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth - Job 19:25.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our Redeemer. We thank You for redeeming us by Your blood. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
