I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me - Psalm 57:2.
God performs all things for us as He had spoken to us. God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - Numbers 23:19. His Words will never fail. For no word from God will ever fail - Luke 1:37. So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it - Isaiah 55:11.
Abraham believed that God was able to perform what He had promised and gave glory to God irrespective of his situation. And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform - Romans 4:19-21.
Let us thank the Most High God who performs all things for us. The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me - Psalm 138:8. Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it.”- Jeremiah 1:12. He will perform all things for us exceedingly abundantly more than we ask or think. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us - Ephesians 3:20.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Your promises never fail. We thank you for performing all things for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
