I Will Rise

Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise - Micah 7:8.

The Lord upholds and raises up all who fall. The Lord upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down - Psalm 145:14. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great - Psalm 18:35. The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand - Psalm 37:23,24.

God will lift us up as we wait patiently for Him. I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand - Psalm 40:1,2. The horns of the righteous will be lifted up - Psalm 75:10. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:30-31.

Let us thank God who helped us to rise again and shine for His glory. You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the Lord helped me - Psalm 118:13. For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again - Proverbs 24:16. Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, Daughter Zion, now a captive - Isaiah 52:2. Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light - Ephesians 5:14. Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you - Isaiah 60:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for helping us to rise again. Let us arise and shine for Your glory. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
