The Lord Is My Shepherd

 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want - Psalm 23:1.

                   The Lord is our Shepherd and we lack nothing as He feeds us in green and rich pastures. He makes me to lie down in green pastures - Psalm 23:2. He will feed His flock like a shepherd - Isaiah 40:11. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country. I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel - Ezekiel 34:13,14.

             There is no fear of any evil as God, our Shepherd is with us to lead us. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me - Psalm 23:4. He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young - Isaiah 40:11. He leads me beside the still waters - Psalm 23:2. For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand - Psalm 95:7.

              Let us hear the voice of our good Shepherd and follow Him. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep - John 10:14,15. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand - John 10:27,28. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls - 1 Peter 2:25.                                                         

                                                            

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being our good Shepherd. Help us to listen to Your voice and follow You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
