God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did - Romans 4:17.
Our God can give life to the dead and He calls those things which do not exist as though they did. He gave life to Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha in Bethany after he had been dead for four days. Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God? - John 11:40. Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go” - John 11:43,44.
Abraham considered him as father of many nations with the eyes of faith, as he believed that He who had promised was also able to perform. Contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness - Romans 4:18-22.
Let us be strong in faith irrespective of our situations as all things are possible for God who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did. For with God nothing will be impossible - Luke 1:37. So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says - Mark 11:22-23. For we walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7. You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water - 2 Kings 3:17. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed - John 20:29.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God of miracles. We believe that You will bring life to all our impossible situations as all things are possible for You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
