When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet - Exodus 15:25.
Israelites could not drink the waters of Marah for they were bitter. When Israelites came to Marah, they could not drink water as it was bitter. Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah - Exodus 15:23.
Israelites started grumbling against Moses as they could not drink the bitter water. God showed Moses a tree as he cried out to Him in that situation and turned the bitter water into sweet water. And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” - Exodus 15:24. So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet - Exodus 15:25.
God will turn our life that is bitter into sweet as we call upon Him like Moses. He will guide us and show us great and mighty things which we never know. Let us call the Lord who turned Marah into sweet. Call to Me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know - Jeremiah 33:3. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for turning our bitter life into sweet. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
