Keeping God’s Commands

 Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord - Leviticus 22:31.

                We will keep God's commands if we love Him and His truth is in us. If you love me, keep my commands - John 14:15. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him - 1 John 2:4,5. God will bless us as we keep His commands.

Blessings of keeping God’s commands

Whatever we do will prosper

Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go - 1 Kings 2:3. 

Protection

Whoever keeps commandments keeps their life - Proverbs 19:16.

Long life

Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess - Deuteronomy 5:33.

Healing

If you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you - Exodus 15:26. 

Answer to prayer

And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight - 1 John 3:22.

Set high above all the nations on earth

If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth - Deuteronomy 28:1.

                          Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye - Proverbs 7:2.
