Our days of sorrow will end as God will turn our sorrow into joy. Your days of sorrow will end - Isaiah 60:20. The Word of God will strengthen us when our soul is weary with sorrow. My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word - Psalm 119:28. Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning - Psalm 30:5.
Jesus turned the sorrow of Mary and Martha into joy by raising Lazarus from dead. And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go - John 11:44. For I will turn their mourning to joy, will comfort them, and make them rejoice rather than sorrow - Jeremiah 31:13.
Let us thank God who turns our sorrow into joy. The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy - Psalm 126:3. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him - Psalm 126:5,6. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy - Psalm 126:2.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for turning our sorrow into joy. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
