Words Of My Mouth

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer - .

 - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

 - But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

 - Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Proverbs 15:28 - The heart of the godly thinks carefully before speaking.

 - For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

 - Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

 - He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.

 - But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

 - A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

 - Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

 - Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

 - So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

 - A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

 - Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

 - If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
