Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
God's will for us is to rejoice always even when situations are not good in our life. He will strengthen us and exalt us to walk in high places as we rejoice in Him irrespective of our situations. Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls - Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:17-19.
God's Word and His presence rejoices our heart. And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart - Jeremiah 15:16. In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore - Psalm 16:11. Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy - Psalm 43:4. The joy of the Lord is our strength. And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord; It shall rejoice in His salvation - Psalm 35:9. The joy of the Lord is your strength - Nehemiah 8:10. A joyful heart keeps us healthy. A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones - Proverbs 17:22.
Let us rejoice always in the Lord in all situations. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! - Philippians 4:4. Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always - Psalm 105:3-4. Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy - Psalm 33:3. Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises. Sing to the Lord with the harp, With the harp and the sound of a psalm, With trumpets and the sound of a horn; Shout joyfully before the Lord, the King - Psalm 98:4-6.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us rejoice always in You irrespective of our situations. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
