Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the Lord our God until He has mercy on us - Psalm 123:2.
God will hear us and help us as we look to Him. Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me - Micah 7:7. I lift up my eyes to the mountains - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth - Psalm 121:1, 2. As the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters and as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, may our eyes look to the Lord our God until He has mercy on us.
We will never be ashamed as we look to the Lord. I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed - Psalm 34:1-5.
Let our eyes look to the Lord our God. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always - Psalm 105:4. To you I lift up my eyes, O you who are enthroned in the heavens! - Psalm 123:1. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God - Hebrews 12:2. Look unto Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other - Isaiah 45:22.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let our eyes always look to You in all situations. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
