Be Still And Know That I Am God

  Be still, and know that I am God - Psalm 46:10.

          The Lord wants us to be still and wait patiently for Him. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him - Psalm 37:7. Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient - James 5:7,8. My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him - Psalm 62:5. 

              The Lord will fight for us and bring us salvation as we are still before Him. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still - Exodus 14:14. For the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you - Deuteronomy 20:4. Do not be afraid nor be dismayed because of this great multitude for the battle is not yours but God’s. 2 Chronicles 20:15. Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever - Exodus 14:13. 

                 Let us be still and know that our salvation comes from God who fights for us. Stand still and see this great thing the Lord is about to do before your eyes! - 1 Samuel 12:16. I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me and heard my cry - Psalm 40:1. Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved - Psalm 62:1, 2. 

                                                                  

PRAYER: Dear  Lord, Help us to be still and know that You are the God who fights for us and brings us salvation. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
