Be Grateful

Sing to the Lord with grateful praise - Psalm 147:7. 

Be grateful to God 

               God wants us to be grateful to Him for everything even for all the little things. Ten lepers were healed by Jesus but only one came all the way back and gave Him thanks. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan - Luke 17: 15,16. So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well” - Luke 17:17-19.         

Be grateful to others   

          We need to be grateful to the people in our lives who helped us and express our gratitude to them. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters - Colossians 3:23. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him - Colossians 3:17. 

              Let our heart overflow with gratitude for every blessing we receive from God and people around us. But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth - Deuteronomy 8:18. Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 5:20.                                                       

                                                          

PRAYER: Let our heart overflow with gratitude for every blessing we receive from You and let us be grateful to people in our life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
