Let The Word of Christ Dwell In You Richly In All Wisdom

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord - Colossians 3:16.

The Word of God which is true should dwell in us richly in all wisdom as it gives us success, joy, guidance, strength, nourishment, understanding, light, salvation, growth, wisdom, completion and great peace. All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal - Psalm 119:160. This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him - Psalm 18:30. Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth - John 17:17. You are near, O Lord, And all Your commandments are truth - Psalm 119:151.

Gives success

Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper - Psalm 1:1-3. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success - Joshua 1:8.

Gives joy

Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart - Jeremiah 15:16. I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure - Psalm 119:162. I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways. I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word - Psalm 119:14-16.

Gives direction

Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path - Psalm 119:105.

Gives strength

My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word - Psalm 119:28.

Gives nourishment

Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out through the mouth of God - Matthew 4:4.

Gives understanding

Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way - Psalm 119:104.

Gives light

The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple - Psalm119:30.

Gives salvation

My soul longs for your salvation; I hope in your word - Psalm 199:81.

Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek your statutes. - Psalm 119:155.

Gives growth

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work - Ephesians 4:15-16.

Gives wisdom

From childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus - 2 Timothy 3:15.

Gives completion

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work - 2 Timothy 3:16,17.

Gives great peace

Great peace have those who love Your law - Psalm 119:165.

Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day - Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭97‬.

PRAYER:Dear Lord, Let Your word dwell in us richly in all wisdom. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
