Light of The World

You are the light of the world - Mathew 5:14.

Jesus is the light of the world. He came to the world as light to save us. When we follow Jesus who is the light of the world, we will never walk in darkness. I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life - John 8:12. He is the light of our life. They looked to Him and were radiant - Psalm 34:5. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ - 2 Corinthians 4:6.
We are the light of the world. We live to glorify God. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven - Mathew 5:16. We are called out of darkness into His marvelous light to be the light of the world. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light - 1 Peter 2:9.
Let us rise and shine for the glory of the Lord. Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you - Isaiah 60:1. We are chosen by God to be the light for the gentiles. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles - Isaiah 42:6. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth - Isaiah 49:6. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising - Isaiah 60:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We are the light of the world. Let our light shine before all people. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Crossing The River Jordan

And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you” - Joshua 3:5.

Before crossing the Jordan river, Israelites waited for three days. They were also asked to go after the ark of the covenant, the priests and the Levites bearing it. When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it - Joshua 3:2. Joshua also told the people to sanctify themselves for God to do wonders. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God - Leviticus 20:7.
As it was the flood season, the Jordan river was overflowing. With faith, the priests stepped into the water. As soon as their feet touched the water, it piled up in a heap. Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground - Joshua 3:17. The people of Israel crossed the river of Jordan on dry ground.
Let us wait and sanctify ourselves for God to do wonders in our life. Whatever crossover moments we face in life like Jordan, let us stand up and cross it with faith. Instead of focusing on our obstacles, let us look upon God who gives us victory. The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head - Micah 2:13.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to cross all the obstacles in our life by faith. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Ask God For Nations

Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession - Psalm 2:8.

Our God rules and reigns over the nations. For the kingdom is the Lord’s, And He rules over the nations - Psalm 22:28. “How awesome is the Lord most High, the great King is the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth! God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne” (Psalm 47:2, 8). God has a sovereign control over all the nations.
We need to pray for our nation and all our leaders so that we can lead a peaceful and quiet life. “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). As we pray, God will do great things in nations. The nations will fear the name of the Lord, all the kings of the earth will revere your glory - Psalm 102:15.
Our God is the hope of all nations. He will bless us and all nations will see the salvation of our God. God shall bless us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him - Psalm 67:7. And all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God - Isaiah 52:10. And all the families of the nations shall worship before You - Psalm 22:27. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord - Psalm 33:12. Let us ask God for nations.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let all the nations fear Your name and worship before You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Run The Race That Is Set By God

Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith - Hebrews 12:1,2.

God has set a race before us for His purpose. Each one of us has different paths and ways in life to run. Our steps in life are ordered and established by God. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way - Psalm 37:23. Leaving behind the past, let us run the race that is set before us with patience and hope. We should also run the race in such a way that we obtain the prize. Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it - 1 Corinthians 9:24.
While running the race, we need to fix our eyes on Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith regardless of what comes on our way. When our eyes are fixed on Christ, we will start to count the earthly things as rubbish and our minds will be set on things above. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ - Philippians 3:8. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus - Philippians 3:14.
Let us not run the race in vain but finish the race successfully that God has set before us. Holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain - Philippians 2:16. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing - 2 Timothy 4:7.8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to run the race that is set before us with endurance by fixing our eyes only on You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Who Does Wonders

You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples - Psalm 77:14.

Our God is a wonder working God. There is no one like our Lord in doing great wonders. Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? - Exodus 15:11. To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 136:4. Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only does wondrous things - Psalm 72:18. God’s wonders in our life reveal His care and love towards us.
God wondrously dealt with the people of Israelites. He delivered them from the bondage of Egypt and brought them through the Red sea by wonders. So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders - Deuteronomy 26:8.  He led them with the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night in the wilderness. He provided them with water from rock and fed them with manna. Our Lord is the God of wonders who does great wonders.
God who led the Israelites wondrously will lead us too. I will show them wonders - Micah 7:15. He will do great wonders in our life which will be marvelous in our eyes. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied. And praise the Name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you, and my people shall never again be put to shame - Joel 2:26. Let us thank and praise God for His wondrous works in our life. We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near - Psalm 75:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God of Wonders. We thank You for performing wonders in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Never Give Place To The Devil

Neither give place to the devil - Ephesians 4:27.

The devil is always seeking a way to enter into our lives. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly - John 10:10. We should be always vigilant as devil will start to control our life once we give him a foothold. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (I Peter 5:8).
We give place to devil by allowing anger, bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness in our life. Be angry, and do not sin: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil - Ephesians 4:26,27. Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled - Hebrews 12:15. Lying opens the door for devil to work in our life as devil himself is a liar. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice - Ephesians 4:31.
Let us examine ourselves and submit to God. When we resist the devil, he will flee from us. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you - James 4:7. Let us never give devil an opportunity to enter our life. Use the sword of the spirit which is the word of God to defeat devil like Jesus did when he was tempted by devil (Mathew 4: 1-11). Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You - Psalm 119:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We submit ourselves to You. Help us to resist the devil so that he will flee from us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Will Go Before Us

I will go before you and make the crooked places straight - Isaiah 45:2.

God lead the people of Israel in the wilderness by going before them. And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night - Exodus 13:21. God promised Joshua that He will go before them when they cross Jordan. You shall not cross over this Jordan. The Lord your God Himself crosses over before you; He will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them - Deuteronomy 31: 2,3.
God will go before us and guide us in the way we should go. He will never forsake us. He will turn darkness into light and make the rough places smooth in our life.In Isaiah 42:16 the Lord promises, “I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.”
The Lord who is our shepherd will go before us and make all the crooked places straight. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth - Isaiah 40:4. He will break all the obstacles that are before us and lead us. I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron - Isaiah 45:2. For the Lord will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard - Isaiah 52:12.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for going before us and making our crooked places straight. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
