Thank You Lord For Your Blessings On Me

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever. Psalm 136:1

God’s blessings are abundant and countless in our life. He is our provider, protector, healer and comforter. His love, goodness and mercies towards us are great. When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you - Deuteronomy 8:10. He had redeemed us from the hand of enemy. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy - Psalm 107:2.

Let us thank God for all the blessings in our life. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s - Psalm 103:1-5.

Let us thank God for blessing us with every spiritual blessing. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. - Ephesians 1:3. God's faithfulness is great in our life. I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High - Psalm 7:17.

Forget The Past

Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert - Isaiah 43:18,19.

Paul teaches us about forgetting what is behind us and pressing toward the future goal. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus - Philippians 3:13,14. We can forget the past and go forward with the help of God who can set us free. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty - 2 Corinthians 3:17.

Joseph suffered a lot in his young age because of his brothers. But he chose to forget the past and forgave them. Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: “For God has made me forget all my toil and all my father’s house” - Genesis 41:51. Dwelling in the past failures, hurts and pains will keep us chained to the past instead of focusing on God’s plan for us. God is our healer who can heal all our deep pains. He heals the brokenhearted, and He binds up their wounds - Psalm 147:3.

Let us forget the past with the help of God and begin a new life. I am making everything new - Revelation 21:5. God makes everything new in our life. He will restore us everything which we have lost in the past. I will restore double to you - Zechariah 9:12. Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs - Isaiah 61:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to forget the past and start a new life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Believe And Declare

You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways - Job 22:28.

God says that when we declare a thing, it will be established for us and the light will shine on our ways. There is death and life in the power of tongue. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit - Proverbs 18:21. God created the heaven and earth world by His word. By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth - Psalm 33:6. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God - Hebrews 11:3.

Our mouth speaks out of the abundance of our heart. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks - Luke 6:45. We speak life when our heart is filled with God’s Word that is life. Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You - Psalm 119:11. As we speak God’s Word, we will receive healing and deliverance in our life. He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions - Psalm 107:20.

Let us speak God’s Word and release His promises into our lives with faith. And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak - 2 Corinthians 4:13. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says - Luke 11:23.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us declare Your Word with faith and may Your plans for our life be established. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Live In The Light

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light - Ephesians 5:8.

The Lord is our light. The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? - Psalm 27:1. In John 8:12, Jesus says, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. We see light in the light of God. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light - Psalm 36:9. God’s Word is our light. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path - Psalm 119:105.

Let us put aside all the deeds of darkness and live in the light. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible - Ephesians 5:13. Let us produce the fruit of the light and live as children of light. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) - Ephesians 5:8,9.

We are the light of the world. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven - Matthew 5:14-16. Let us walk as children of light and glorify God by making our light shine before all people.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us live in the light and be the light of the world. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God's Guidance In Our Lives

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8.

The Lord who is our Wonderful Counselor guides us with His counsel. You will guide me with Your counsel - Psalm 73:24. He teaches us and leads us in the way we should go. The Lord teaches me to profit, and leads me in the way I should go - Isaiah 48:17. The Word of God is the light that guides us and leads us to take the next step in our life. Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path - Psalm 119:105. You lead me in paths of righteousness for Your name's sake - Psalm 23:3.

God guides and teaches His way to the humble. The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way - Psalm 25:9. Moses was very humble and so God made known His ways to him. Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth - Numbers 12:3. He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel - Psalm 103:7. Let us be humble for God to show us His ways. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love - Ephesians 4:2.

God’s guidance in our life is continual. The Lord will guide us continually. The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail - Isaiah 58:11. Let us submit all our ways to God and He will direct our paths. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your continual guidance in our lives. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Voice of The Lord

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me - John 10:27.

The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted - Psalm 46:6.

The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire - Psalm 18:13.

And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!” - Mark 9:7.

The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, Yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon. He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox. The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; The Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth, And strips the forests bare; And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!” - Psalm 29:3 - 9.

When He utters His voice, There is a multitude of waters in the heavens: “And He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, He brings the wind out of His treasuries” - Jeremiah 10:13.

And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with His glory - Ezekiel 43:2.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me” - Isaiah 6:8.

To Him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which were of old! Indeed, He sends out His voice, a mighty voice - Psalm 68:33.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to hear Your powerful voice. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Weapon of Worship

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker - Psalm 95:6.

Worshipping the Lord brings blessing on our food and water. Also, our sickness will be taken away from us. Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you - Exodus 23:25. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord - Colossians 3:16.

Worship is the most valuable weapon that will not allow enemy to steal anything from us. O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth, who have set Your glory above the heavens! Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger - Psalm 8:1-2. It is a spiritual warfare weapon against our enemies. As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated 2 Chronicles 20:22

Our God is seeking for true spirit filled worshipers. The true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship Him - John 4:23. Worship brings breakthrough in our lives. Let us begin to worship the Lord in Spirit and truth and overcome all the strategies of Satan. My mouth is filled with your praise, and with your glory all the day - Psalm 71:8. Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness - 1 Chronicles 16:29.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to worship You in Spirit and truth. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Remember The Works Of The Lord

I will remember the works of the LORD; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will also meditate on all Your work, And talk of Your deeds - Psalm 77:11,12.

God had done wondrous works in our life. We need to remember the works of the Lord and talk all His wondrous doings with others. One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts. I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, And on Your wondrous works - Psalm 145:4,5. Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works! - Psalm 105:2.

God brought the Israelites out of Egypt with His mighty hand. The Israelites remembered the great works of the Lord and praised Him. You shall not be afraid of them, but you shall remember well what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt: the great trials which your eyes saw, the signs and the wonders, the mighty hand and the outstretched arm, by which the Lord your God brought you out -Deuteronomy 7:18,19.

Let us remember the great works of the Lord and praise Him. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God - Psalm 20:7. I will freely sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good. For He has delivered me out of all trouble; And my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies - Psalm 54:6,7. We will not hide them from their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done - Psalm 78:4.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Great is Your faithfulness. We remember and thank You for all Your wondrous acts in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Do Not Give The Devil A Foothold By Being Angry

Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.   (Ephesians 4:26–27).

Anger gives a foothold for devil and so we should never let the sun go down while we were still angry. Our God is slow to anger. The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love - Psalm 103:8.Let us always be slow to anger. Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires - James 1:19,20.

We are mightier when we are slow to anger. He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city - Proverbs 16:32. When someone hurts us, let us ask God to heal our hurts instead of getting anger. A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense - Proverbs 19:11.

Let us never give place to devil by letting anger in our heart. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you - Ephesians 4:31, 32. May we forgive others and exhibit fruit of the Spirit in our life. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control - Galatians 5:22-23.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to not give devil a foothold by letting anger in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Favor of God And Men

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us - Psalm 90:17.

Mercy and truth are the keys to walk in the favor of God. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man - Proverbs 3:3,4. Mercy and truth belong to those who devise good - Proverbs 14:22. Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy - Matthew 5:7. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth - John 17:17.

Let mercy and truth be always in our heart so that we can find favor in the sight of God and men.  When we seek God, we will find Him. We will obtain favor from the Lord as we find Him. For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord - Proverbs 8:35. Jesus grew in wisdom, stature and in favor with God and men.  And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men - Luke 2:52.

Mary found favor in the sight of God. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you” - Luke 1:28. Queen Esther found favor in the sight of the king. The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins - Esther 2:17. God's favor lasts a lifetime (Psalm 30:5). May we also obtain the favor of God and men.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to receive favor from You and men. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Look To The Lord

Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me - Micah 7:7.

God will hear us when we look to Him and wait for His salvation. When we look to Him for help, we will be radiant and our faces will not be ashamed. They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed - Psalm 34:5. The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season - Psalm 145:15.

Let us look to the Lord and seek His face beyond our circumstances. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always - Psalm 105:4. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the Lord our God, Until He has mercy on us - Psalm 123:2.

Let us look to the Lord who is the author and finisher of our faith. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God - Hebrews 12:2. Look unto Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other - Isaiah 45:22.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us look to You in all our circumstances. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Trust God When There Are Delays In Our Life

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts - Isaiah 55:8,9.

Jairus who was a ruler of synagogue came to Jesus as his daughter is sick. He fell at His feet with humility and begged Him to come and lay His hands on her so that she will live. And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet and begged Him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live” - Mark 5:22,23.

When Jesus went with him to heal his daughter, a woman who has a flow of blood for twelve years came behind Him in the crowd and touched him. As Jesus was ministering to her, there was a delay in getting to Jairus’s daughter. While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house and said that his daughter is dead and not to trouble the Teacher. As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe” - Mark 5:36.

Jairus might have thought that if Jesus did not minister that woman, his daughter would not have died. But he believed Jesus instead of his situation. Jesus restored his daughter back to life. Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement - Mark 5:41, 42. Jesus worked a great miracle in the life of Jairus' daughter in His time even though it seems to be delayed.

God does not always work when we think He should. There are times when we feel that our request got denied or forgotten by God. God always works in His perfect time and He is never late. Sometimes, we may not understand what God is doing in our lives. But, His ways and thoughts are always higher than our ways and thoughts. Let us not be afraid but only trust the miracle working God in all situations as all things are possible for Him. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass - Psalm 37:5.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to believe You in all situations as You will always work in perfect time in our lives. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Is My Everything

The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped – Psalm 28:7.

God is our strength and defense. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:19. I will wait for You, O You his Strength; For God is my defense - Psalm 59:9. He is our only hope and trust. For You are my hope, O Lord God; You are my trust from my youth - Psalm 71:5.

God is our rock, fortress, deliverer, shield, salvation and stronghold. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold - Psalm 18:2. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God - Psalm 62:6,7.

God is our light and salvation. The LORD is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid? - Psalm 27:1. He is our Helper.  Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life - Psalm 54:4. He is our provider, healer, comforter and protector. He is our true fried to whom we can share all our burdens and He cares for us. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you - 1 Peter 5:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are my everything. I thank You for Your love and care. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Blessed Are Pure In Heart

Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God - Matthew 5:8.

We need a pure heart to stand in the presence of God. Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place?  He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation - Psalm 24:3-5. The one who has a pure heart will receive blessing from the Lord. We are so blessed when we our heart is pure and we can see God.

The Lord will not hear us if we have iniquity in our heart. If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear - Psalm 66:18. The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?  - Jeremiah 17:9. Let us hide the word of God in our heart so that sin cannot enter our lives. Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You - Psalm 119:11.

God is good to those who are pure in heart. Truly God is good to Israel, To such as are pure in heart - Psalm 73:1. Let us purify our hearts to see God and His goodness in our life. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:8. Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name - Psalm 86:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Purify our hearts to see You and Your goodness. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Brought Us To A Place of Abundance

We went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance - Psalm 66:12.

Our God is a God of abundance. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly - John 10:10. You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance - Psalm 65:11. God’s goodness is abundant in our life as we fear Him. God stores up goodness for those who love him. How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you - Psalm 31:19.

God brought Isaac to Rehoboth which is a place of abundance and blessed him abundantly as he obeyed Him. He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, “Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land“- Genesis 26:22.  Let us obey the voice of the Lord. And you will again obey the voice of the Lord and do all His commandments which I command you today. The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good - Deuteronomy 30:8,9.

Let us thank God who brought us to the place of abundance. He moved us from a place of scarcity to abundance to enjoy His abundant blessings. We went through fire and water but now He had brought to a place of abundance. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen - Ephesians 3:20-21.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for bringing us to a place of abundance. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Worship The Lord

Worship the Lord your God and serve him only - Luke 4:8.

Worship the Lord in spirit and truth

God seeks for true worshipers who will worship in spirit and truth. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth - John 4:23,24.

Worship the Lord by surrendering ourselves as a living sacrifice

True and proper worship is offering our lives as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God - this is your true and proper worship - Romans 12:1.

Worship with reverence and awe

Let us worship the Lord with reverence and awe. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe - Hebrews 12:28. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker - Psalm 95:6.

Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness

Let us worship the Lord our God in the beauty of holiness. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth - Psalm 96:9. Exalt the Lord our God, And worship at His holy hill; For the Lord our God is holy - Psalm 99:9.

Worship the Lord with gladness

Let us worship the Lord with gladness and joyful songs from our hearts. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs - Psalm 100:2. Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song - Psalm 95:1,2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us offer ourselves to You and worship You in spirit and truth. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
