The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable - Isaiah 40:28.
Our God is everlasting. At Beersheba, we see
that Abraham calls on the LORD as El Olam, “the Everlasting God” or “Eternal
God.” The Hebrew word olam means “for a long time, always, forever.” Then
Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there called on the name of
the Lord, the Everlasting God - Genesis 21:33. He is the alpha and the Omega,
the beginning and the end, the first and the last. I am the Alpha and the
Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last - Revelation 22:13.
God who
created the earth is the living God from everlasting to everlasting. Before the
mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even
from everlasting to everlasting, You are God - Psalm 90:2. He is the everlasting king who reigns forever. But the
Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King - Jeremiah 10:10.
His kingdom is everlasting. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your
dominion endures throughout all generations - Psalm 145:13.
God’s love for us is
everlasting. I have loved you with an everlasting love - Jeremiah 31:3. His
Word is everlasting. The word of the Lord endures forever - 1 Peter1:25. The
eternal God is our dwelling place and we are safe under His everlasting arms. The
eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms -
Deuteronomy 33:27. Our everlasting God will guide us forever even to death. For
this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death -
Psalm 48:14. The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and
forevermore - Psalm 121:8.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the everlasting
God who is always with us to guide us and protect us. In Jesus’ name we pray.
Amen.
