God's Care That Lasts For A Lifetime

 Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you - Isaiah 46:4.

                God carried the Israelites for over 40 years through the desert. He cared for them and provided all their needs. He fed them with manna from heaven and gave them water from a rock. He kept sickness far away from them. His presence went before them. He protected them and kept them as the apple of His eye. In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them all the days of old - Isaiah 63:9.

             The Lord alone led the Israelites and took care of them. He found him in a desert land And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye. As an eagle stirs up its nest, Hovers over its young, Spreading out its wings, taking them up, Carrying them on its wings, So the Lord alone led him, And there was no foreign god with him. He made him ride in the heights of the earth, That he might eat the produce of the fields; He made him draw honey from the rock, And oil from the flinty rock - Deuteronomy 32:8-13.

                  Let us take refuge in the Lord who cares for us and protects us. The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him - Nahum 1:7. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes - Psalm 118:8-9. Only God’s care will last for a life time. He will take care of us and will be with us always even to the end of the age. I am with you always, even to the end of the age - Matthew 28:20.
