Showing Hospitality To Strangers

Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it - Hebrews 13:2.

Rebekah showed hospitality to Abraham’s servant who is a stranger for her. And when she had finished giving him a drink, she said, “I will draw water for your camels also, until they have finished drinking” - Genesis 24:19. Dorcas helped poor people and cared for widows by making dresses for them. In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (in Greek her name is Dorcas); she was always doing good and helping the poor - Acts 9:36. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling - 1 Peter 4:9. Let

The widow of Zarephath fed Elijah even though her family was starving.  And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son”. So, she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days - 1 Kings 17:13,15. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality - Romans 12:13.

The Shunammite woman arranged a room in her home for the prophet Elisha. And she said to her husband, “Look now, I know that this is a holy man of God, who passes by us regularly. Please, let us make a small upper room on the wall; and let us put a bed for him there, and a table and a chair and a lampstand; so it will be, whenever he comes to us, he can turn in there” - 2 Kings 4:9,10. Let us serve God by showing hospitality to strangers and doing good. Let's not get tired of doing what is good, for at the right time we will reap a harvest-if we do not give up - Galatians 6:9.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to show hospitality to strangers. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Pour Out Your Hearts Before God

Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him, for God is our refuge - Psalm 62:8.

Hannah carried all her burdens to the Lord and poured out her soul to Him. I was pouring out my soul to the Lord - 1 Samuel 1:15. After Hannah poured out her heart to God, she was no longer sad as she had found rest in the presence of God. So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad - 1 Samuel 1: 18.

God fills us with His peace as we pour out our hearts by making all our requests known to God. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6, 7. Wonders of God

You are the God who does wonders - Psalm 77:14.

The wonders and miracles that God performs in our life are beyond our comprehension. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted - Job 9:10. Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare - Psalm 40:5. There is none like our God who does great wonders. Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? - Exodus 15:11.

God redeemed the people of Israel from Egypt by performing awesome wonders. And who is like your people Israel - the one nation on earth whose God went out to redeem a people for himself, and to make a name for yourself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt? - 1 Chronicles 17:21.

Let us remember the wonders that God had done in our life. Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth - 1 Chronicles 16:12. I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old - Psalm 77:11. He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate - Psalm 111:4. I will show them my wonders - Micah 7:15.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God of wonders. We thank You for the awesome wonders You have done in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Use The Authority Given By God

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you - Luke 10:19.

God gave twelve disciples the power and authority over all devils and to heal the sick. Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick - Luke 9:1-2. When He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease - Matthew 10:1.

Peter used his spiritual authority to set the lame man free from bondage. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them - walking, leaping, and praising God - Peter 3:6-8.

Let us use the authority that God has given us. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give - Matthew 10:7,8. As we start using the authority given by God, devils will be defeated and miracles will happen. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father - John 14:12.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for the authority You have given us over all the power of enemies. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Revealer of Deep And Secret Things

He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him - Daniel 2:22.

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law - Deuteronomy 29:29. It was God’s good pleasure to make known to us the mysteries of His will. Having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself - Ephesians 1:9.

The Holy Spirit is the revealer of secrets who reveals the deep and secret things. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God -  Corinthians 2:9,10. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant - Psalm 25:14.

When we call upon God, He will show us great and mighty things which we never know. Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know - Jeremiah 33:3. May God give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to understand the deep and secret things. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him - Ephesians 1:17. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places - Isaiah 45:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the revealer of secrets. Show us deep and secret things. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Lord Is Near

You are near, O Lord, and all your commandments are true - Psalm 119:151.

The Lord is near to us, present with us and watching us no matter where we are. If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me - Psalm 139:9,10. He is near us all the time to guide us and protect us. For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, And He ponders all his paths - Proverbs 5:21.

The Lord is near to all those who call upon Him in truth. The Lord is near to all who call upon him to all who call upon Him in truth - Psalm 145:18. He is near to all broken hearted. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit - Psalm 34:18. Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age - Matthew 28:20. Let us draw near to God. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you - James 4:8.

Let us rejoice in the Lord always and not be anxious about anything as the Lord is near. Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:4-7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us rejoice always as You are near to us in all our situations. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God's Unfailing Love

How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! - Psalm 36:7.

Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you - Jeremiah 31:3.

God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8.

He gave His one and only son out of His love for us. By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us - 1 John 3:16.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! - 1 John 3:1.

Though we were still sinners, Christ died for us. But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us! -  Rom. 5:8.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me -Galatians 2:20.

We love him, because he first loved us - 1 John 4:19. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God - Ephesians 5:2.

God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us - Romans 5:5.

May be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God - Ephesians 3:18,19.

For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights - Proverbs 3:12.

I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, because you have seen my affliction; you have known the distress of my soul - Psalm 31:7.

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail - Lamentations 3:22.

For no one is cast off by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love - Lamentations 3:32,33.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

It Is Not You Who Speak But The Holy Spirit

For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you - Matthew 10:20.

The Holy Spirit teaches us what to say when we speak about Him with others. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say - Luke 12:12. When God called Jeremiah and Moses for doing His work, they told that they cannot speak. God told them that He will teach them what to speak. Then said I: “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak” - Jeremiah 1:6, 7.

God said Moses that He will be with his mouth and teach him what to say. Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say” - Exodus 4:10 - 12.  It is not us who speak but the Holy Spirit. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit - Mark 13:11.

Let us boldly speak about the love of Christ with others as the Holy Spirit will teach us what to speak and how to speak. Always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear - 1 Peter 3:15. I have put My words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand - Isaiah 51:16. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty - 1 Corinthians 1:27.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We submit ourselves to You. We thank You for teaching us what to speak by Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Walking In The Wisdom of God

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy - James 3:17.

We need to walk in the wisdom of God to talk wisely, to behave wisely, to make wise choices and to lead a successful life. The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing - Proverbs 12:18. I will behave wisely in a perfect way - Psalm 101:2. Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding - Proverbs 4:7.

Our God is the source of all wisdom. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge - Colossians 2:3. He is the only wise God. To the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen - Romans 16:27. God’s Word is full of His wisdom and those who hear it will be wise. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding - Proverbs 2:6. Hear instruction and be wise - Proverbs 8:33.

Let us fear God and be humble to walk in His wisdom. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom - Proverbs 9:10. When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom - Proverbs 11:2. Let us walk in the wisdom of God by asking God who gives us the wisdom liberally. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him - James 1:5. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil - Proverbs 3:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Fill us with Your wisdom to walk wisely in all our ways. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Marah Turns Sweet

So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet - Exodus 15:25.

The people of Israelites went to the wilderness where they found no water after being delivered from Pharaoh's army in the Red sea. Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah - Exodus 15:23. The people of Israelites grumbled against Moses as they could not drink the bitter water. And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” - Exodus 15:24.

They forget all the past victories and miraculous deliverances done by God in Egypt. Instead of trusting God, they complained against Moses. The will of God for us is to give thanks in everything. in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you - 1 Thessalonians 5:18. When Moses cried out to the Lord during this situation, the Lord showed him a tree. As he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.

God turned the bitter water of Marah into sweet water. Then the Israelites went to Elim where there were springs of water and palm trees. Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters - Exodus 15:27. God will show us what to do like how He showed Moses a tree when we call upon Him. Let us trust God as nothing is impossible with Him. He will transform all our Marah experiences into sweetness and lead us to Elim experiences of springs of water with palm trees.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for turning all our bitter experiences into sweet experiences. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

In The Morning

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly - Psalm 5:3.

The Lord will hear our voice in the morning as we lay our requests before Him and wait on Him. His mercies are new every morning. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness - Lamentations 3:22,23. We shall hear the voice of God when we seek Him early. Those that seek me early shall find me - Proverbs 8:17.

Joy comes in the morning. Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning - Psalm 30:5. Each day is made by the Lord and so let us rejoice and be glad. This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it - Psalm 118:24. You make the outgoings of the morning and evening rejoice - Psalm 65:8. O GOD, You are my God; Early will I seek You - Psalm 63:1.

Let us start our morning with God and receive His Word. Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life- Psalm 143:8. Give us this day our daily bread - Matthew 6:11. To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night - Psalm 92:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us praise You and seek Your face early in the morning. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

All Things Work Together For Good

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose - Romans 8:28.

Joseph was sold to the Ishmaelites as he was hated by his brothers. Then Midianite traders passed by; so the brothers pulled Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. And they took Joseph to Egypt - Genesis 37:28. He was thrown into prison because of the false accusation of Potiphar’s wife. Then Joseph’s master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison - Genesis 39:20.

The Lord was with Joseph in all his circumstances. He was made as the leader of Egypt. Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt” - Genesis 41:44. The evil done to Joseph by his brothers was meant for good by God. But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive - Genesis 50:20.

All things worked for good in Joseph’s life. He became a great blessing for his family and people of Egypt. Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones. And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them - Genesis 50:21. Let us not look at the hardships what we face now and become frustrated. God promises not to leave us nor forsake us. Let us trust God and move forward in life as all things work together for good in our life. He has made everything beautiful in its time - Ecclesiastes 3:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank you for loving us and being with us in all circumstances of our life. We believe that all things work for good in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Oh How I Love Jesus!!

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength - Deuteronomy 6:5.

We love God because He first loved us. We love Him because He first loved us - 1 John 4:19. Let us love God with all our heart, soul and strength. That you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days - Deuteronomy 30:20.

The love of God is perfected in us when we keep His word. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him – 1 John 2:5. For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do - to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him - Deuteronomy 11:22.

Let us hate evil and love the Lord. You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked - Psalm 97:10. Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints! For the Lord preserves the faithful - Psalm 31:23. Let us love God by keeping His Word and hating evil.  Let those also who love Your name be joyful in You - Psalm 5:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We love You and thank You for Your great love towards us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God of Every Victory

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Corinthians 15:57.

For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory - Deuteronomy 20:4.

For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith - 1 John 5:4.

The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord - Proverbs 21:31.

But he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a great victory - 2 Samuel 23:12.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it- 1 Corinthians 9:24.

Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory - Psalm 98:1.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us - Romans 8:37.

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all - 1 Chronicles 29:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God of every victory. We thank You for giving us victory. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Whom Shall I Send?

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me” – Isaiah 6:8.

Moses, Jonah, Jeremiah and Gideon first hesitated to obey the voice of God when they are called to do His work. They told God about their weaknesses but later obeyed and finished the work assigned by God to them. God did mighty things through them and delivered people from destruction.

Moses

Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue” - Exodus 4:11. But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else” - Exodus 4:13.

Jonah

The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai: “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.”  But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port - Jonah 1:1,2.

Jeremiah

Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Then said I: “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak - Jeremiah 4:1-8.

Gideon

So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” And the Lord said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man” Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord - Judges 6:15,16.

God is looking for people with willing hearts to go for His mission work. Let us obey the voice of God and serve Him with the gifts that we have. God will use us mightily according to His plan and purpose. The harvest is truly great but the laborers are few - Luke 10:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to obey Your voice and fulfill Your work. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Prayer of Eliezer

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:5,6.

Abraham told his chief servant Eliezer to find a bride for his son Isaac as he became old. Eliezer prayed for God to give him success in finding the bride for Isaac. Then he said, “O Lord God of my master Abraham, please give me success this day, and show kindness to my master Abraham. Behold, here I stand by the well of water, and the daughters of the men of the city are coming out to draw water.  Now let it be that the young woman to whom I say, ‘Please let down your pitcher that I may drink,’ and she says, ‘Drink, and I will also give your camels a drink’- let her be the one You have appointed for Your servant Isaac. And by this I will know that You have shown kindness to my master - Genesis 24:12-14.

Even before Eliezer had finished his prayer, Rebekah came out with her jar on her shoulder. But before I had finished speaking in my heart, there was Rebekah, coming out with her pitcher on her shoulder; and she went down to the well and drew water. And I said to her, ‘Please let me drink.’ And she made haste and let her pitcher down from her shoulder, and said, ‘Drink, and I will give your camels a drink also. So I drank, and she gave the camels a drink also - Genesis 24:45,46. Eliezer wondered as it happened like how he  prayed.

God answered the prayer of Eliezer and made his journey prosperous. Eliezer prayed and trusted God instead of him while seeking the bride for Isaac. Like Eliezer, let us also pray and seek the guidance of God in all we do. The Lord is near to all who call Him in truth. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8. Let us submit all our ways to God and trust Him so that He will direct our paths. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:16.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to trust You and seek Your guidance in all we do. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Blessings of Pleasing God

Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God - 1 Thessalonians 4:1.

We will be fruitful in every good work and increase in the knowledge of God when we walk a life that is pleasing God. Walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God - Colossians 1:10. Enoch walked closely with God and pleased Him. By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God - Hebrews 11:5.

We will receive whatever we ask from God when we keep His commandments and do things that are pleasing to Him, And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight - 1 John 3:22. So we make it our goal to please Him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it - 2 Corinthians 5:9.

God will make even our enemies to be at peace with us when our ways please Him. When our ways please Him. When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him - Proverbs 16:7. Let us please God on all occasions of our life and be blessed. Find out what pleases the Lord - Ephesians 5:10.

PRAYER : Dear Lord, Help us to please You in all we do. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Treasure God's Word

I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure - Psalm 119:162.

There is no great treasure in the world as precious as the Word of God. My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God - Proverbs 2:1-5.

The Word of God is a treasure that teaches us, corrects us and trains us to be equipped for every good work. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work - 2 Timothy 3:16,17. Heaven and earth will pass away but My words will by no means pass away - Mark 13:31.

Let us treasure God’s Word that brings great peace and joy to us. Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble - Psalm 119:165. Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart - Jeremiah 15:16. Let us keep hiding the treasure of God’s living Word in our heart. Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You - Psalm 119:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us treasure Your Word more than anything else in this world. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God's Rewards For Us

He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him - Hebrews 11:6.

God rewards all those who seek Him. God promises to reward when we help the needy people. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly - Matthew 6:3,4. May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge - Ruth 2:12.

God will reward us when we love our enemies and help them. If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; For so you will heap coals of fire on his head, And the Lord will reward you - Proverbs 25:21,22. And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward - Matthew 10:42.

God rewards all those who suffer for Him. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you - Matthew 5:11,12. He will reward us with riches and honor and life when we are humble and fear Him. The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life - Proverbs 22:4.

God rewards those who serve Him. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ - Colossians 3:23,24. Sometimes, we may not be recognized by others for what we do. But God will reward us according to our works when He comes. Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done - Revelation 22:12.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for rewarding us for our works. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
