Remember The Wondrous Works That He Has Done

 Remember the wondrous works that He has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered - Psalm 105:5.

           God has performed great and awesome wonders in our life. He is the one you praise; He is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes - Deuteronomy 10:21. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted - Job 9:9,10.

             We need to remember the works of the Lord that are awesome. I will remember the works of the Lord; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will also meditate on all Your work, And talk of Your deeds - Psalm 77:11,12. Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men - Psalm 66:5. I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, And on Your wondrous works - Psalm 145:5.

             Let us thank God for His wondrous works in our life. We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near - Psalm 75:1. I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; With my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations - Psalm 89:1.                                                   

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We remember Your wondrous works and give thanks to You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Wait Quietly For The Salvation of The Lord

               It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord - Lamentations 3:26.

              God is good for all those who wait quietly for Him. The Lord is good to those who wait for Him - Lamentations 3:25. He will hear us as we call upon Him and wait patiently for Him. I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry - Psalm 40:1. Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me - Micah 7:7. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope - Psalm 130:5.

              God will strengthen us as we hope and wait for Him. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint - Isaiah 40:31. Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! - Psalm 27:14.

            Let us wait quietly for God alone and His salvation/ For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken - Psalm 62:1-2.  I wait for your salvation, O Lord - Genesis 49:18. And it will be said in that day: Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation - Isaiah 25:9.

Sing To The Lord

 Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things - Psalm 98:1.

But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress - Psalm 59:16.

But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me - Psalm 13:5-6.

The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him - Exodus 15:2.

But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble. To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defense, My God of mercy - Psalm 59:16,17.

Sing to God, sing praises to His name - Psalm 68:4.

I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High - Psalm 9:2.

I will sing praise to Your name forever – Psalm 61:8.

                                                         


PRAYER: Dear Lord, You have done marvelous things in our life. We sing of Your strength and power. We sing praises to Your name. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Who Does Wonders

 You are the God who does wonders - Psalm 77:14.

 He does great things past finding out, Yes, wonders without number - Job 9:10.

To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 136:4.

He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted - Job 9:10.

I will show them wonders - Micah 7:15.

Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? - Exodus 15:11.

So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders - Deuteronomy 26:8.

He is the one you praise; He is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes - Deuteronomy 10:21.

Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all people - Psalm 96:3.

We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near - Psalm 75:1.

You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame - Joel 2:26.

Draw Near To God With A True Heart And Confidence

 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you - James 4:8.

With true heart

              The Lord will draw near to us as we draw near to Him with a true heart. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water - Hebrews 10:22. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded - James 4:8.

With confidence

            Let us draw near to God with confidence in time of need to receive mercy and find grace of God. Let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:16. But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, That I may declare all Your works- Psalm 73:28.

The Lord is near

             The Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth - Psalm 145:18. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit - Psalm 34:18. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself - John 12:32.

                                                           

            

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to draw near You with a true heart and confidence. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

When I Act Who Can Reverse It?

                                          When I act, who can reverse it - Isaiah 43:13.

             God’s purposes and promises for us never fail. The Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back? - Isaiah 14:27. God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? - Numbers 23:19.

                   God will perform what is appointed for us and no one can stop His plan. For He performs what is appointed for me, And many such things are with Him - Job 23:14. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever - Psalm 138:8.

               God who had begun a good work in us will complete it and His works are marvelous in our life. He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ - Philippians 1:6. For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure - Philippians 2:13. Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him - Isaiah 64:4.

Water Turned Into Wine

 Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now! - John 2:10.

Wine ran out in the wedding of Cana

             There was a wedding in Cana in which Jesus and His disciples were invited. The mother of Jesus said to Jesus that there was no wine as the wine ran out. And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come”. His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”  - John 2:3-5. God will direct our path as we listen to His voice. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your path - Proverbs 3:5-6.

The servants obeyed

            The servants obeyed Jesus by filling the waterpots with water and   Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, “Fill the water pots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it - John 2:6-8.

Water turned into wine

           Jesus manifested His glory by turning the water into wine. This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him - John 2:11. God’s timing will be perfect and all things are possible with Him. He has made everything beautiful in its time - Ecclesiastes 3:11. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him - Psalm 37:7. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:19.

                                                   


PRAYER: Dear Lord, With You all things are possible and You are awesome in power. Let us obey and wait patiently for You to act in perfect timing in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray.

Praise To The Lord The Almighty

 Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! - Psalm 150:2.

              God heals all our diseases and redeems us from destruction. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s - Psalm 103:1-5. Let us praise the Lord Almighty for being our health and salvation.

            God has dealt wondrously with us. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame - Joel 2:26. Let us praise the Lord Almighty who alone had done great wonders in our life. To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 136:4.

            God’s goodness and mercies follows us all the days of our life. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life - Psalm 23:6. It is good to praise the Lord our Almighty for He is good. Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful - Psalm 147:1. Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 106:1.

By God I Can Run Against A Troop And Leap Over A Wall

 For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall - Psalm 18:29.

            God gave David victory over Saul and all of his enemies. He could run through troops and leap over walls because God arms him with strength and helped him. It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places. He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great. You enlarged my path under me, So my feet did not slip - Psalm 18:32-36.

             God is our strength and He makes our feet like deer’s feet to run against a troop and leap over any wall. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:19. I will lift up my eyes to the hills - From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber - Psalm 121:1-3.

            With the help of God, let us run against a troop and leap over walls. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me - Philippians 4:13. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me - 2 Corinthians 12:9. If God is for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31.                                                       


PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our strength. We can run against a troop and leap over a wall by You. In Jesus;’ name we pray. Amen.

The Whole Earth Is Filled With Awe At Your Wonders

 The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders - Psalm 65:8.

              There is no one like our God who does wonders. Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? - Exodus 15:11. You are the God who does wonders - Psalm 77:14. He is the Maker of heaven and earth who performs wonders that cannot be fathomed. He is the Maker of the Bear and Orion, the Pleiades and the constellations of the south. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted - Job 9:9,10.

                 God’s creation is wonderful. By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth - Psalm 33:6. He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down - Psalm 104:19. He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them - Psalm 147:4. And the heavens will praise Your wonders, O Lord - Psalm 89:5.

             We are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful - Psalm 139:13,14. Let us praise God whose works are wonderful, great and awesome. He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes - Deuteronomy 10:21.

                                                     


Dear Lord, You are the God of Wonders. We are filled with awe at Your wonders. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Praise The Lord

 Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name - Psalm 103:1.

1. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised - Psalm 48:1.

2. Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous: for praise from the upright is beautiful - Psalm 33:1.

3. He has put a new song in my mouth - Praise to our God - Psalm 40:3.

4. Let the people praise You, O God; let all the people praise You - Psalm 67:3.

5. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! -  Psalm 107:8.

6. Seven times a day do I praise You because of Your righteous judgments - Psalm 119:164.

7. Every day will I bless You; and I will praise Your name for ever and ever - Psalm 145:2.

8. Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being - Psalm146:1, 2.

9. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand - Psalm 149:6.

10. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom - Psalm 145:3.

11. My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long - Psalm 71:8.

12. Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.

13. I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue - Psalm 66:17.

14. I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws - Psalm 119:7.

15. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well - Psalm 139:14.

16. Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done - Psalm 105:1.

Think About Such Things

 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things - Philippians 4:8.

Our thoughts

         God wants us to think about things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy. So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking - Ephesians 1:17. Our thoughts are so important as thinking shapes our behavior. For as he thinks in his heart, so is he - Proverbs 23:7.

Mind of Christ

             Let us set our minds on things above and not on earthly things. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things - Colossians 3:2. Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus - Philippians 2:5. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace - Romans 8:6.

Mind Renewal

              Let us bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ and renew our mind. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God - Romans 12:2. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ - 2 Corinthians 10:4,5.

Obedience And Faith

 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days - Hebrews 11:30.

God’s Instructions

             God gave instructions to Joshua on what to do for the walls of Jericho to fell down. March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in - Joshua 6:3-5. Joshua led the Israelites to do what God had instructed.

The Israelites obeyed God and followed the instructions

            For the first six days, they marched around the city once for six days while the trumpets kept sounding. The seven priests carrying the seven trumpets went forward, marching before the ark of the Lord and blowing the trumpets. The armed men went ahead of them and the rear guard followed the ark of the Lord, while the trumpets kept sounding. So on the second day they marched around the city once and returned to the camp. They did this for six days - Joshua 6:13,14. Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it - Luke 11:28.

By obedience and faith, the walls of Jericho fell down on the seventh day

                 The Israelites obeyed God by faith and on the seventh day, the Jericho fell down. On the seventh day when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army to shout with praise and the wall collapsed. When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city - Joshua 6:20.

God Who Works Wonders Delivered Daniel From The Power of The Lions

 He delivers and rescues, And He works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth, Who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions - Daniel 6:27.

Daniel faced the lions in the den

                A decree was signed by the king that no one can pray to any God except himself for thirty days. But Daniel continued to kneel and pray to God three times a day. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days - Daniel 6:10. So the king gave the command, and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. But the king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.” - Daniel 6:16.

Daniel delivered from the power of lions

                 God who works wonders delivered Daniel from the power of lions. My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you - Daniel 6:22. Daniel who believed God and stood firm in faith was not injured when taken out of the den. Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God - Daniel 6:23. Our God is a wonder-working God and all things are possible for Him.

Nothing shall by any means hurt you

                 Nothing can harm those who believe God. When the wicked were thrown into the same den of lions the next morning, they were killed by lions. Daniel 6:24 tells us that “And the king gave the command, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions- them, their children, and their wives; and the lions overpowered them, and broke all their bones in pieces before they ever came to the bottom of the den”. Nothing shall by any means hurt you - Luke 10:19.

                                              


PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Lord who works wonders and nothing can harm us by any means as we believe You and stand firm for You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Your Faith Has Healed You

 Your faith has healed you - Mark 10:52.

               Jesus went to Jericho and when blind Bartimaeus heard about it, he started shouting for Jesus to have mercy on him. Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” - Mark 10:46,47.

            With faith, Bartimaeus shouted more for Jesus to have mercy on him even though many rebuked him and told him to be quiet. Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” - Mark 10:48. Jesus called and asked him what did he want from Him. Bartimaeus answered that he wanted to see. Jesus said that his faith has healed him and he immediately received his sight. “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road - Mark 10:52.

                Our faith in God will bring healings and miracles in our life. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven - James 5:15. He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. He was amazed at their lack of faith - Mark 6:5,6. The faith of Bartimaeus healed him. Like Bartimaeus, let us also seek God more with faith irrespective of all our circumstances and be healed.

                                              


PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to seek Your face more with faith irrespective of our circumstances. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Lord Is The One Who Sustains Me

 Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me - Psalm 54:4.

                 God is taking care of us and sustaining us every day. Let us cast all out care to the Lord who sustains us. Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken - Psalm 55:22. He will sustain us till our old age. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you - Isaiah 46:4.

                The Word of God sustains us. Your words are what sustain me; they are food to my hungry soul. They bring joy to my sorrowing heart and delight me. How proud I am to bear your name, O Lord - Jeremiah 15:16. Let us meditate the living Word of God that sustains us and brings health to our flesh. For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh - Proverbs 4:22.

                Let us thank God, our sustainer who sustains us and helps us throughout our life. Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed - Psalm 119:116. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me - Psalm 51:12.

To Him Who Alone Does Great Wonders

 To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 136:4.

                There is no one like our Lord who does great wonders. Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? - Exodus 15:11. He is a wonder working God who performs wonders that cannot be fathomed. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted - Job 9:10.

                  God turned the sea into dry land and delivered the Israelites from the hands of Egyptians by doing great wonders. Take a good look at God’s wonders - they’ll take your breath away. He converted sea to dry land; travelers crossed the river on foot. Now isn’t that cause for a song?  - Psalm 66:5, 6. The Israelites went through the sea on dry ground with a wall of water on their right and on their left. So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left - Exodus 14:22.

                The Israelites sang and praised God for doing wonders and saving them. Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? - Exodus 15:11. Let us praise and thank the God who alone does great wonders in our life. We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near - Psalm 75:1.

Fear God

 Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come - Revelation 14:7.

In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge - Proverbs 14:26.

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant - Psalm 25:14. 

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom - Proverbs 9:10.

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil - Proverbs 8:13.

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death - Proverbs 14:27.

The fear of the Lord prolongs days - Proverbs 10:27.

By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life - Proverbs 22:4.

Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant - Psalm 25:12-14.

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house - Psalm 112:1,2.

Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him - Psalm 33:8.

Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasure with trouble - Proverbs 15:16.

The fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil - Proverbs 19:23.

And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation - Luke 1:50.

And the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day - Deuteronomy 6:24.

He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them - Psalm 145:19.

Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised - Proverbs 31:30.

God Delivered Me From All My Fears

 I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears - Psalm 34:4.

              God delivers us from all fears about anyone or anything by being our light and salvation. The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? - Psalm 27:1. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? - Psalm 118:6. He is with us wherever we go to protect us. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go - Joshua 1:9.

             God delivers us from our fears by being with us, strengthening us and giving us peace. Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid - John 14:27. Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You - Psalm 56:3.

               Let us praise God for doing marvelous things in our life and delivering us from all fears. Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the Lord has done marvelous things! Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength - Joel 2:21, 22. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me - Psalm 23:4.

Blessings of Serving The Lord

 Keep his commands and obey him; serve Him and hold fast to him - Deuteronomy 13:4.

Honor

If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor - John 12:26.

Blessings

And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled - Deuteronomy 11:13-15.

Good Health

When we serve God, He will bless our food and water and take sickness away from us. So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you - Exodus 23:25.

Well-being

May those who delight in my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, “The Lord be exalted, who delights in the well-being of his servant”- Psalm 35:27.

Serve the Lord with gladness & fear

Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing - Psalm 100:2.

Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling - Psalm 2:11.

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money - Mathew 6:24.

If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ - 1 Peter 4:11.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms in time of need - 1 Peter 4:10.

I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me

 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me - Philippians 4:13.

           God gives power to the weak and increases strength for those who have no might. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength - Isaiah 40:29. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind - 2 Timothy 1:7. He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man - Ephesians 3:16.

           God will equip us with strength for the battle. You armed me with strength for battle; you humbled my adversaries before me - Psalm 18:39. We shall have renewed strength as we wait upon Him. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint - Isaiah 40:31. For when I am weak, then I am strong - 1 Corinthians 12:10.

             God is our strength and His strength is made perfect in our weakness. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever - Psalm 73:26. My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness - 2 Corinthians 12:9. Look to the Lord and His strength; seek his face always - 1 Chronicles 16:11. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

Let Us Walk In The Light of The Lord

                     Come, descendants of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the Lord - Isaiah 2:5.

Find what is acceptable to the Lord to walk in the light

              As believers and followers of Christ, we cannot abide or walk in darkness. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness - John 12:46. Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” - John 8:12. We have to find what is acceptable to the Lord and walk in light as children of light. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them - Ephesians 5:8-11.

Practice the truth to walk in the light

               We need to practice the truth to walk in the light as God is in the light. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin - 1 John 1:6,7. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves - James 1:22.

Shine as lights

                Let there be light in all the areas of our life and let us shine as lights holding fast the word of life. Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain - Philippians 2:14-16.                                                     

  

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us find what is acceptable to You and practice the truth to walk in the light and shine as lights. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Be Glad In The Lord

 The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad - Psalm 97:1.

              Each day is the gift of God for us to be glad in it. This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it - Psalm 118:24. We are not consumed because of the Lord’s great love and His mercies are new every morning. Satisfy us in the morning with Your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days - Psalm 90:14. I will be glad and rejoice in Your love - Psalm 31:7.

           Let us be glad as the Lord has done marvelous things in our life. Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the Lord has done marvelous things! - Joel 2:21. The Lord has done great things for us and we are glad - Psalm 126:3. Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God - Joel 2:23. But let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy! - Psalm 5:11.

              Let us worship the Lord with gladness. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs! - Psalm 100:2. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High - Psalm 9:2. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord” - Psalm 122:1.
