To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 136:4.
There is no one like our Lord who does great
wonders. Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in
holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? - Exodus 15:11. He is a wonder
working God who performs wonders that cannot be fathomed. He performs wonders
that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted - Job 9:10.
God turned
the sea into dry land and delivered the Israelites from the hands of Egyptians
by doing great wonders. Take a good look at God’s wonders - they’ll take your
breath away. He converted sea to dry land; travelers crossed the river on foot.
Now isn’t that cause for a song? - Psalm
66:5, 6. The Israelites went through the sea on dry ground with a wall of water
on their right and on their left. So the children of Israel went into the midst
of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right
hand and on their left - Exodus 14:22.
The Israelites sang and praised
God for doing wonders and saving them. Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods?
Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? -
Exodus 15:11. Let us praise and thank the God who alone does great wonders in
our life. We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works
declare that Your name is near - Psalm 75:1.
