Water Turned Into Wine

Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now! - John 2:10.

Wine ran out in the wedding of Cana

There was a wedding in Cana in which Jesus and His disciples were invited. The mother of Jesus said to Jesus that there was no wine as the wine ran out. And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come”. His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”  - John 2:3-5. God will direct our path as we listen to His voice. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your path - Proverbs 3:5-6.

The servants obeyed

The servants obeyed Jesus by filling the waterpots with water and   Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, “Fill the water pots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it - John 2:6-8.

Water turned into wine

Jesus manifested His glory by turning the water into wine. This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him - John 2:11. God’s timing will be perfect and all things are possible with Him. He has made everything beautiful in its time - Ecclesiastes 3:11. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him - Psalm 37:7. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:19.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, With You all things are possible and You are awesome in power. Let us obey and wait patiently for You to act in perfect timing in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray.
