Be Rooted And Built Up In Christ

 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving - Colossians 2:6,7.

Be rooted in Him

           We will be like a tree well rooted and planted by the rivers of water as we meditate the Word of God day and night. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper - Psalm 1:2,3.

Be built in Him

               We will be like a house built on the rock unshaken as we hear God’s Word and do according to it. Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock - Matthew 7:24,25.

Abide in His Word

              Let God’s Word abide in us to be rooted and built in Him. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you - John 15:7. Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God - Ezekiel 11:19,20.
