For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall - Psalm 18:29.
God gave David victory over Saul and
all of his enemies. He could run through troops and leap over walls because God
arms him with strength and helped him. It is God who arms me with strength, And
makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my
high places. He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of
bronze. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand
has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great. You enlarged my path under
me, So my feet did not slip - Psalm 18:32-36.
God is our strength and He makes our feet like deer’s feet to run against a troop and leap over any wall. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:19. I will lift up my eyes to the hills - From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber - Psalm 121:1-3.
With the help of God, let us run against a troop and leap over walls. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me - Philippians 4:13. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me - 2 Corinthians 12:9. If God is for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You
are our strength. We can run against a troop and leap over a wall by You. In
Jesus;’ name we pray. Amen.
