Her children rise up and call her blessed - Proverbs 31:28.
Strength and honor are
her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with
wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household, And
does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her
husband also, and he praises her: “Many daughters have done well, But you excel
them all.” Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the
Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of
the fruit of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates - Proverbs
31:25-31.
Can a woman forget her
nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may
forget, Yet I will not forget you - Isaiah 49:15.
For you formed my inward
parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am
fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very
well - Psalm 139:13-14.
As one whom his mother
comforts, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem - Isaiah
66:13.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Bless
all the mothers in the world. Give them good strength, guide them and lead
them. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
