God Who Works Wonders Delivered Daniel From The Power of The Lions

He delivers and rescues, And He works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth, Who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions - Daniel 6:27.

Daniel faced the lions in the den

A decree was signed by the king that no one can pray to any God except himself for thirty days. But Daniel continued to kneel and pray to God three times a day. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days - Daniel 6:10. So the king gave the command, and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. But the king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.” - Daniel 6:16.

Daniel delivered from the power of lions

God who works wonders delivered Daniel from the power of lions. My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you - Daniel 6:22. Daniel who believed God and stood firm in faith was not injured when taken out of the den. Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God - Daniel 6:23. Our God is a wonder-working God and all things are possible for Him.

Nothing shall by any means hurt you

Nothing can harm those who believe God. When the wicked were thrown into the same den of lions the next morning, they were killed by lions. Daniel 6:24 tells us that “And the king gave the command, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions- them, their children, and their wives; and the lions overpowered them, and broke all their bones in pieces before they ever came to the bottom of the den”. Nothing shall by any means hurt you - Luke 10:19.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Lord who works wonders and nothing can harm us by any means as we believe You and stand firm for You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
