Remember His Marvelous works

Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth - Psalm 105:5.

God had done marvelous works in our life to be remembered. He has made His wonderful works to be remembered - Psalm 111:4. He is faithful in His goodness to us. Then they remembered that God was their rock, And the Most High God their Redeemer - Psalm 78:35. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God - Psalm 20:7.

Hannah remembered the faithfulness of God and praised Him. And Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation. No one is holy like the Lord, For there is none besides You, Nor is there any rock like our God" - 1 Samuel 2:1,2.

Let us remember and declare the wonderful works that the Lord has done for us. I will remember the works of the Lord; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old - Psalm 77:11. Come and hear, all you who fear God, And I will declare what He has done for my soul - Psalm 66:16.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We remember Your faithfulness and goodness to us. We thank You and praise You for Your awesome works in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Word of God

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work - 2 Timothy 3:16, 17.

Lamp & Light

Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path - Psalm 119:105.

Prayer of Isaac

Now Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived - Genesis 25:21.

Isaac’s persistent prayer

Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife to have a child. Now Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife, because she was barren - Genesis 25:21. He waited for twenty years and prayed persistently with faith as God had already promised Abraham that He will multiply his descendants as stars and sand. Blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore - Genesis 22:17. Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah as wife - Genesis 25:20. Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them - Genesis 25:26.

God answered Isaac’s prayer

The Lord answered the prayer of Isaac and Rebekah conceived. The Lord granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived - Genesis 25:21. I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry - Psalm 40:1.  So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you - Luke 11:9. Pray without ceasing - 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

More than what Isaac asked

Isaac prayed for a child but God blessed him exceedingly and abundantly more than what he asked with twins, Esau and Jacob. So when her days were fulfilled for her to give birth, indeed there were twins in her womb - Genesis 25:24. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we think or ask Him in prayer. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us - Ephesians 3:20.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us pray persistently for everything without ceasing. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God's Guidance

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left - Isaiah 30:21.

God directs us in the way we should go

Our God guides us, teaches us and directs us in the way we should go. I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go - Isaiah 48:16. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8. We receive the guidance of God when we are humble. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way - Psalm 25:9. You will guide me with Your counsel - Psalm 73:24.

God’s Word guides us

The Word of God guides us by being a lamp to our feet and light to our path. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path - Psalm 119:105. God will show us His ways as we meditate His Word. Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day - Psalm 25:4,5.

The Spirit of God guides us

The Spirit of God guides us and leads us. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God - Romans 8:14. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth - John 16:13. No one is needed to teach us as the Holy Spirit, the Helper teaches us all things. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things - John 14:26.

The Lord will guide us continually

The Lord will guide us continually. The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail - Psalm 58:11. For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death - Psalm 48:14.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your continual guidance and direction in our lives. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Putting God First In All We Do

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you - Mathew 6:33.

We put God first by loving Him more than anything else in the world and honoring Him. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind - Matthew 22:37. Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be overflowing and your vats will brim over with new wine - Proverbs 3:9,10.

Mary put Jesus first by choosing to hear His Word whereas Martha was worried and distracted by many things. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving - Luke 10:39,40. And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her” - Luke 10:41,42.

Let us put God first in all we do and give glory to Him. Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God - 1 Corinthians 10:31. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:5,6. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God - Matthew 4:4.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to love You and honor You by putting You first in all we do. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

For He Spoke And It Was Done

For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast - Psalm 33:9.

There was a great calm and peace after Jesus rebuked the wind and said to the sea to be still. Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” - Mark 4:39, 40.

God’s Word will never return empty. So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it - Isaiah 55:11. When God commands, even the winds and the sea obey. So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?” - Matthew 8:27.

God has power to calm every storm in your life and give us peace. His promises will never fail in our life. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? - Numbers 23:19. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do - Isaiah 46:11. When I act, who can reverse it? - Isaiah 43:13.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Your words will never fail. We thank You for calming every storm in our life and giving us peace. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

My Hope

For You are my hope, O Lord God - Psalm 71:5.

God is our hope. For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth - Psalm 71:5. And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you - Psalm 39:7. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope - Psalm 130:5. The eyes of the Lord on those who hope in his unfailing love. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love - Psalm 33:18.

We are so blessed as our hope is the Lord. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit - Jeremiah 17:8.

Those who hope in the Lord will never be put to shame. No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame - Psalm 25:3. We receive mercy and abundant redemption from the Lord as we hope in Him. O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption - Psalm 130:7.

Let God be our hope and let us put our hope in God alone. Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God - Psalm 42:11. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you - Psalm 33:22. My hope is in you all day long - Psalm 25:5.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our hope. Let us put our hope in You alone in all situations. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Sovereign Lord

How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears - 2 Samuel 7:22.

Our God is Sovereign as He existed before all things. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist - Colossians 1:17. Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God - Psalm 90:2. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made - John 1:3.

Nothing is too hard for our Sovereign Lord.  Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You- Jeremiah 32:17. Is anything too hard for the Lord? - Genesis 18:14. For nothing is impossible with God - Luke 1:37.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Sovereign Lord and we thank you as nothing is hard for You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Prayer of Hannah

For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him - 1 Samuel 1:27.

Hannah prayed to God to give her a child despite her pain and hopeless situation. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish - 1 Samuel 1:10. She poured out her heart to God and brought all her needs to Him. But have poured out my soul before the Lord - 1 Samuel 1:15. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you - 1 Peter 5:7. She also made a vow that if God would give her a child, she would give back to Him.

Hannah was no longer sad after praying as she had much faith in the power of God. So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad - 1 Samuel 1:18. God answered the prayer of Hannah and blessed her with Samuel. For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him - 1 Samuel 1: 27. Hannah fulfilled her vow by bringing Samuel to serve the Lord. Meanwhile the child Samuel grew before the Lord - 1 Samuel 2:21.

Hannah praised and thanked God as her prayer was answered by God. And Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation” - 1 Samuel 2:1. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6,7.

Peace Like A River

Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river - Isaiah 66:12.

God of peace

God gives us His peace to us not as the world gives and so there is no need to let our hearts to be troubled or be afraid. He is the God of peace. Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all - 2 Thessalonians 3:16.  And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen - Romans 6:20.

Create In Me A Pure Heart

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me - Psalm 51:10.

Worship God with a pure heart

We need to worship and honor God with a pure heart. These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me - Mathew 15:8. Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart - Psalm 24:3. The Lord will not hear us if we have iniquity in our heart. If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear - Psalm 66:18.

Blessed are those who are pure in heart

We are so blessed when our heart is pure and we shall see God. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God - Matthew 5:8. Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart - Psalm 119:2. Truly God is good to Israel, to such as are pure in heart - Psalm 73:1.

Draw near to God with a pure heart

Let us purify our heart and draw near to God. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water - Hebrews 10:22. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:8. Unite my heart to fear Your name. I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forevermore - Psalm 86:10,11.

PRAYER: Create in us a pure heart. Let us worship and draw near to You with a pure heart. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

You Will Not Be Forgotten By Me

Remember these, O Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me! - Isaiah 44:21.

God did not forget the Israelites when they were in bondage. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them - Exodus 2:23-25.

God did not forget Hannah and Rachel in their afflictions. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her - 1 Samuel 1:19. Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb - Genesis 30:22. The Lord remembers us and will bless us - Psalm 115:12.

We will never be forgotten by our Almighty God who created us. Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me - Isaiah 49:15,16.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for remembering us and blessing us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Things Which Are Seen Are Temporary

For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal - 2 Corinthians 4:18.

No confidence in flesh

Paul was a Hebrew born in Tarsus in the tribe of Benjamin. He had studied in Jerusalem under one of the finest teachers, Gamaliel. For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh, though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless - Philippians 3:3-6.

Accomplishments as loss

Paul considered the things he used to value the most as loss for the sake of Christ. But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ  - Philippians 3:7,8. He evaluated everything in the world as garbage to gain the true blessing that Lord Jesus Christ could give him.

Things which are unseen are eternal

The things which we see on this earth are temporary and so let us set our mind on things above and not on earth. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth - Colossians 3:2. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ - Philippians 3:20. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? - Mark 8:36. Heaven and earth will pass away - Luke 21:33. The just shall live by faith - Romans 1:17.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to set our mind on things above and not on the earth as the things which we see in the world are temporary. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Mighty God

For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome - Deuteronomy 10:17.

Our God is mighty. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite - Psalm 147:5. The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save - Zephaniah 3:17. With a mighty hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery - Exodus 13:14.

The Lord is mighty in battle and He is with us like a mighty warrior. The Lord is with me like a mighty warrior - Jeremiah 20:11. The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man; He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war. He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall prevail against His enemies - Isaiah 42:13. He is mighty in battle. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle - Psalm 24:8.

Let us praise our mighty God for His mighty acts. Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness - Psalm 150:2.  Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? Who can declare all His praise? - Psalm 106:2. One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts - Psalm 145:4.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Mighty God. We thank You for Your mighty acts in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God's Promises Never Fail

Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel has failed; everyone was fulfilled - Joshua 21:45.

God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - Numbers 23:19.

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us - 2 Corinthians 1:20.

I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them - Jeremiah 32:42.

Let us hold on to the promises of God with faith. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful - Hebrews 10:23.

For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass - Ezekiel 12:25.

His word will never pass away. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away - Matthew 24:35.

For no word from God will ever fail - Luke 1:37.

Not one word has failed of all His good promises - 1 Kings 8:56.

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it - Isaiah 55:11.

Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word" - Jeremiah 1:12.

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us - 2 Corinthians 1:20.

I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you - Genesis 28:15.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for fulfilling all Your promises in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Prayer of Jabez

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request - 1 Chronicles 4:10.

Bless me

God’s blessings will make us rich. The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it - Proverbs 10:22. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ - Ephesians 1:3.

Enlarge my territory

God will enlarge us by blessing us and restoring us. Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed - Genesis 28:14. So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, the consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you - Joel 2:25.

Let your hand be with me

God’s hand will be with us to help us and strengthen us. Let Your hand become my help, For I have chosen Your precepts - Psalm 119:173. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing - Psalm 145:16. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10.

Keep me from harm

God will keep us from all harm. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one - Matthew 8:16. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one - 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for blessing us, for enlarging our territory, for Your hand being upon us and for protecting us from all harm. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
