If Anything Is Excellent or Praiseworthy - Think About Such Things

 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things - Philippians 4:8.

                    God's divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His own glory and excellence. His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence - 2 Peter 1:3.

whatever is true

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist -Ephesians 6:14.

whatever is noble

Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord - Romans 12:10,11.

whatever is right

He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong,  upright and just is he - Deuteronomy 32:4.

whatever is pure 

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry - Colossians 3:5. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God - Matthew 5:8.

whatever is lovely

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven - Matthew 5:16. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer - Psalms 19:14. Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him - 2 Corinthians 5:9.

whatever is admirable

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ - Colossians 3:23,24. And they praised God because of me - Galatians 1:24.

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he - Proverbs 23:7.

Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen - 2 Peter 3:18.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to think about things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable and if anything is excellent and praiseworthy. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
