I Will Make Darkness Light Before Them And The Crooked Places Straight

I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, and the crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them - Isaiah 42:16.

                 Joseph walked through many dark years but God did not forsake him instead made darkness light before him and all the crooked places straight as he trusted God. Because the Lord was with him; and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper - Genesis 39:23. I will go before you And make the crooked places straight. I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord,

Who call you by your name - Isaiah 45:2, 3.

                 God went before the life of Joseph and made the crooked places straight and lifted him. And, Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”- Genesis 41:41. The family of Joseph saw the glory of the Lord that was revealed in his life. You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children - Genesis 50:20,21. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth. The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, And all flesh shall see it together - Isaiah 40:4, 5. 

                  Like  Joseph, let us also trust God who can make darkness light before us and the crooked places straight in our life and make us head and not tail. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:5-6. I will make all his ways straight - Isaiah 45:13. The LORD will make you the head, not the tail - Deuteronomy 28:13. He has made everything beautiful in its time - ‎Ecclesiastes 3:11.
