Our Healer

I am the Lord who heals you - Exodus 15:26.

Jesus took up all our pain, carried all our sorrows on the cross and by His wounds we are healed. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed - Isaiah 53:4, 5. He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” - 1 Peter 2:24.

All our wounds are healed by the one who was wounded for our transgressions and was bruised for our iniquities. We are healed from whatever sicknesses or diseases we may be suffering by His stripes. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds - Psalm 147: 3. For I will restore health to you, and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord - Jeremiah 30:17.

Let us thank and praise God our Healer who heals all our diseases. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s - Psalm 103:1-5.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our Healer. We thank You and and praise You for healing us by Your stripes. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
