It Is Jesus’ name And The Faith That Comes Through Him That Has Completely Healed Him

 It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see - Acts 3:16.  

A lame man was healed

                   There was a lame man at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, who was asking alms from those who entered the temple. When Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer. he asked alms from them also and Peter told him to rise up and walk in the name of Jesus Christ. Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk” - Acts 3:6. Immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength and he started walking. And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength - Acts 3:7.  

People were greatly amazed seeing him walking, jumping and praising God

                  The crowds of people were filled with wonder and amazement when they saw the the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate was walking and praising God. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him - Acts 3:9,10.

By Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him 

                  Peter told the people who were greatly amazed that the lame man was completely healed and made strong not by their own power or godliness but by faith in the name of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus. So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? - Acts 3:12. By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see - Acts 3:16.  

Be miraculously and completely healed

               There is power and healing in the name of Jesus. Let us also be miraculously healed from sickness like the lame man who walked by faith in the name of Jesus. For the man who was miraculously healed was over forty years old - Acts 4:22. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name. Philippians 2:9. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says - Mark 11:23. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith - Matthew 21:22.

                                                                  

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Your name is powerful and Your name is above every name. Heal us miraculously and completely by Your name. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
